2000 f250 7.3 4x4 issues

my brothers 00 superduty is displaying 4x4 lights when its in 2wd . sometimes its 4 hi sometimes 4 lo hubs are unlocked, and it is not actually in 4wd has anyone had this problem?

its not possible for the t case to switch into low while driving is it? it is esof not the manual shift t case.

is there any way to test the switch to see if its good?

4x4 woes

I am currently at war with my '99 F250 ESOF. I just found on a F150 site a guy who is fighting with a F150. He has posted an old recall notice for the gem that says that the truck can shift from 2to4 wd without any input from driver or tghat the 4x4 can become inoperable all together and all of this was caused by corrupt program language in the module. Dont know if this helps any but something to chase anyway. I think my truck has a bad module just trying to confirm that at this time Mark
