on a 300 mile trip to the coast, over some 6 & 7% grades, with my 11K FW. 60-65 on level ground... 45-50 in 4th gear (6th being OD) up the grades. Not WOT but make'n him work.
I'm impressed. EGTs were 50 to 100 degrees lower, truck has more staying power and and recovery ability (from slow traffic). I'm not sure if it's the 6.0 I/C alone or the combination of It and the DT466 CPS. The lower EGTs were no doubt the I/C, IMO, the staying/recovery power was the combination of both.
For anyone who does some (or alot) towing.... a 6.0 I/C is something to be concidered. Depending on the type of Mods already done.
First tow, so not a whole lot to report. Definetly BETTER tho.
