110,000 miles burns 2 quarts motor oil in 3,000 miles. No leaks, no puddles under truck when parked. Have not noticed any blue smoke, anyone have any suggestions?

I have a 2002 F350 with 81600 on the clock. I usually have to add 1-2 quarts between the 5000 oil change. Ford advises that is normal with some trucks?

you could have fuel injector o-rings that are allowing the oil to bypass the seals andget into the fuel system.pull the fuel filter and see if its black from the oil.

This won't work for the SD trucks since the fuel system dead ends in the fuel rails. This works for the OBS Trucks or trucks with a regulated return fuel system.

Does your truck smoke on start up? a blueish tinge could indicate injector o-ring troubles.

Pull your oil fill cap off and do you get a stream of blue haze coming out when the engine is running? This is going to show blow by. You can also pull the intake off of the turbo and look there after the CCV.
