Anyone know if i can take 05 harley headlights directly off of 05 truck and install them in my 04?

they will work, just need to modify the headlight panel or replace the headlight panel from a 05-07.......there are other members that have done this. there might be a Wiki article on this, but i am not sure...
also your electrical plug will be different. the 05-07 headlights use a different bulb...hope this helps some

Just follow the red lines and you should be fine.

I cut my header panel using Stephen/Bama's pics and everything went fine. You can get by with just the pigtails that are $39.99 I think, but you can also get the upgraded harness that uses a relay, I think it was like $89.99. The other option is the brightbox relay. It will have your low beams on with your high beams. There is a way of doing this with a diode on the relay harness,but i'm not sure how. I used the pigtails because I waited for a month for everybody to get the relay harness' in and finally gave up on it and went with the pigtails. Bill's a good guy and he'll get you fixed up.
