upper and lower ball joints R&R help needed
The fun part was putting the new big seal on that goes on the back side of the hub or pressed onto the spindle. My old one was wore out and junk. Not fun. Thanks again for the help. Had to use a pry bar also to get the axle out. Got to do the passenger side yet. Needs new seals also. See YA- I M Fast

thanks Sometimes the simplest solution is hard to find when you don't step back and look at the whole situation. Thanks guys, headin' down to the shop to get to work. Luckily it's within walkin distance. 10-4 on the hub seal. Hopefully I can see the forest through the trees. See Ya!- I M Fast

I have a 2000 F350 4x4. Trying to get the u-joints apart on the short spindle driver side so I can replace the upper and lower ball joints. The problem I'm having is with the c-clips that hold the caps in place on the u-joint. They have been there awhile and are quite stubborn. About to get...- I M Fast

It works Thanks for your posts guys. Saved me about $160 when I used this info instead of letting my local Ford dealer fix the problem. They said $80 to look at it and if it was the GPR the Total parts and labor would be $230 which included the first $80 to look at it. The part was $116 at...- I M Fast
