that what i thought. I have heard that some 6.0 just come with faulty or weak fuel pumps, but i switched it out. is there any way i could have installed it wrong? like any tricks to doing it right?- powerstrokeboss

i have stopped driving it since the problem appeared and i have checked the blue spring already and it seems to be installed correctly, i guess there's no harm in checking again! Is there any way that 30 over nozzles would require a RR?- powerstrokeboss

the new icp cleared my issues but i now have a new issue!!! my fuel pressure is too low, i get about 40 or a little less at idle and when i accelerate hard it can drop to below 20 which is terrible for the injectors. i have dropped the tank and cleaned it and the filter inside and i replaced the...- powerstrokeboss

replaced the hpop related seals, did a pressure test and it has a minor leak which i figured was the pump shaft leak that is apparently OK, fired it up and drove it a bit and it still has a randomly rough idle. i have taken it to a shop and they say i have the wrong icp, i have the early version...- powerstrokeboss

just the other day it died on the highway completely, so back to square 1, I am doing some pressure tests and I think it blew a seal around the hpop, possibly one on the tube that is in with the hpop, and I think the ipr is leaking as well. I seem to blow stuff all the time when on extreme!- powerstrokeboss

icp volts-- koeo-0.27,L idle-0.98, H idle-1.01, 65mph-1.52, WOT-2.38 to 1.5 and just when you let off it does 4.8 ipr%- in same order-14.8,14.8,14.8,24,94.9 and also its got a new fuel pump- powerstrokeboss

I will check to make sure it was volts it was reading, and yes it has the blue spring but in the original housing... could that cause problems? also what is baro and is it suppose to stay about the same?- powerstrokeboss

their are no codes, the fuel pressure at idle is 54 but drops to 48 with acceleration and fluctuates under very light throttle, the fuel filters are new motorcraft filters, and the diesel is good. 1.
