My issues were a number of things. Fuel Pump on its way out, caused #1 and #3 injector to fail. That and a ****ty cps that I bought from autozone (it was the type that was recalled) The pump and the injectors fixed my situation. Injectors go bad for the third time!!!!
Have you been replacing them with new or rebuilt injectors? Ford will give you rebuilt ones unless you throw a fit. and pay extra:D I have heard wonderful things about Industrial Injection. Talked to several distributors, and they said not one of them that they knew of had come back for any...- BDJack

Update!! Good call JLDickmon! Baby has arrived- all ten fingers and toes of poopy screamy fun! Was not the IDM. Used the test module, no change. Put IDM back in, reassembled fender. Used a really fancy code reader from my buddy at international, and it said #1and #3 injector were bad...- BDJack

Haha, fair enough! Outside temp during the day- High is 40's/Low is 20's Builds sufficent oil psi (more than 500) Voltage around 12.5-13 Has fuel psi (sorry no reading) Glow Plug resistance all around 1.5 ohms GPR reads proper voltage (now) Connections all cleaned, drop tested...- BDJack

We did, but i also saw on the ford tech manual, that it only "needs" 11 volts to start. Thanks for coming back though, help is always welcome... Still waiting on that test module...- BDJack

Yeah I handled the drop tests JL, after some searching:cool: Took out the ipr, cleaned it up, and checked resistance of coil. One of the O-Rings was leaking a bit, and the oil in my HPOP seemed a bit low, which may be the problem, or may be indicative of one of the injector O-Rings leaking...- BDJack

read on here somewhere that icp sensor may be cause...I disconnected it, thread stated that the computer will find other ways to read icp if you disconnect it, no luck there either. IPR is where I am putting my money. Went to Stealership and talked to their diesel tech, and he came to same...- BDJack

so both new batteries load tested good, charged to about 14.5 volts. Oh, and all terminals cleaned, no obvious corrosion. Same results, only now it sounds like it really likes to hear itself get cranked:D Oil pressure is about the only thing I havent checked, can i remove the EOP sensor to...- BDJack

Weather 'bout the same here, snow thawing out... be gone by 7am prolly:D Cleaned up the new batt terminals and battery connections, voltage closer to what it should be, but still low. 12.19 volts Cleaning grounds where meet frame and block now, and going to take both batts to napa to make...- BDJack

So its better but I only have 11.75 volts @ battery/gpr. None of the wires appear corroded. So basically I have too much resistance somewhere, and it is not allowing the current to travel through correctly? How do I troubleshoot individual wires, do I use resistance?- BDJack

So got two new batts, and still no start. Hooked up a third new one via jumper cables, just for giggles, no dice. Will attempt same with multimeter readings, see if i am getting 12.5 volts and if that doesnt work, check for corrosion like bigrgr advised. Appreciate all the posts so far!- BDJack

Of the two that were in there, one was bad, other one I had load tested and charged. I know you are supposed to replace both at once, but didnt have the cash to do that if I didnt have to. Sooo, a brand new one 880cca and 1040 ca and a used but good one 850cca and 1000 ca. You think...- BDJack

On both gpr I could hear the gpr click, and this one i can hear it whine as it powers gp. I guess I will try to see if neighbor can jump my truck...but doesnt seem likely as I just charged both batteries.- BDJack
