    While looking for my miss I got a P1820 code yesterday. Truck will not shift into 4H or 4L. Checked a 30a fuse under the hood and two relays under the hood. If I ground the relays the motor will shift so I think it is in the GEM or the dash switch. How do I narrow it down?

    Propane will advance your timing. Depending on how much timing is already in your chip this may cause issues (well just one... boom). You may want to find a tuner that will write you a propane program. I find a hand calculated 26mpg hard to believe. Maybe on the lie-o-meter with a chip...

    Why would Injector Pulse Width and Volume Fuel Desired be lower than idle values at 1800-2500 rpm? Seems like when the miss occurs, both values drop significantly.

    That was with the chip out. Stock injectors were sent back as cores. I might get someone with a different ear to listen to the buzz test again.

    I talked with Jody (DP Tuner) today and asked him if the chip hid codes. He said that when we flashed my PCM to run spilt shots we only put a program on it that would run the truck. The chip programing will run the truck smoothly so the PCM may throw codes due to not being programmed to idle...

    Normally the lock arms latch against the inside of the cap opening. Take a look to see if the glass will sit flush against the cap when it is down. If it does you shouldn't have a problem.

    Didn't feel the miss on the way to and from work today. Got home and reved it up to 2400-2500 rpm in the driveway and got the miss (chip in). Ran CCT 3x no failures. Pulled chip ran CCT 3x: 1st #1 & #8 failed, 2nd #8 failed, 3rd no failures. Put chip back in. Joe, I agree a good hard...

    Enclosed trailer towing

    It's a Haulmark tandem axle with brakes on both. I wasn't planning on WD, just a sway bar. My biggest concern is those damn minivans that park themselves just of the trailer's rear bumper.

    Put the new dark grey IH CPS in came up with CCT failures on #2 and #8. Went in and swapped them around. Also cleaned the IPR since I had everything opened up. Can't get anything else to fail. I'll get all the air out tomorrow and I'll see what happens.

    Just bought a 7x16 enclosed trailer. Looking to know if I should put any type of sway control on it. I have pulled larger travel trailers and had one, just wondering if I should get one for this.

    Ony one injector failed in #1. It came from #3(original failure). Hopefully I can get the air worked out today and go from there. I also have an unkown variable in the black CPS. If the IH dealer is open today I might go get a new blue/purple CPS from them.

    Pulled the grey CPS and put the black one back in. Also removed chip. Ran CCT and failed on #3 and #7 three times. Pulled injectors and swapped #3 and #1, #7 and #5, ran CCT and #1 failed. Lots of air still in the HPOS. I'll take it for a good drive tomorrrow. Fuel desired will...

    Thanks JL. How would "fuel desired" impact the issue? Fuel desired is also dropping or is slow to go up on acceleration. Is there any way to isolate 1-2 injectors and the IDM? Really trying to get this narrowed down this weekend.
