    Check your TC mounting bolts (nuts if its a stock TC). Make sure they are tight.

    Thanks guys. I got two presents today. A turbo from the FedEx guy and Dieselsite boots and wastegate controller from the UPS guy. Spent the day packing the trailer for the move. Loaded the truck and went to the scales. Felt the mystery vibration again when the truck was loaded.

    Tell me about it. I've spend almost 10 months of truck payments in the last 3 months. I'm still up in the air on what I am going to replace it with. Probably another 38r. Just not sure on which housing to go with. I am concerned that the 1.15 will be a little laggy around town.

    Called Bean. It maaaayyyy be rebuldable... by a turbo shop. The ball bearing turbos are not so shade tree friendly. I'll probably end up calling Dieselsite tomorrow.

    Just did a compression test. Everything is between 390 and 420. Found oil residue inside the I/C boots. I have had the CCV re-routed for 4 years so I doubt it is residual. Now to figure out what I am going to do for a turbo.

    I have about 200 miles since the injectors were re-installed. My first couple trip to and from work after the install there was a lot of white smoke. Much less yesterday. I'll keep watching the side mirror to see if I see any difference today. CCV vents to atmosphere.

    I am getting a white colored smoke from the truck during hard accelleration (empty) and while towing. When towing it just puffs white smoke, under hard accelleration it will leave a cloud hanging.

    No loss or gain in coolant. I have oil leaking from the front side of the muffler. Compression was checked a few months ago and lowest cylinder was at 380. All were between 380 and 410. I will start a new thread as the mystery vibration has been fixed by tuning.

    Check the relay first. Probably time for glow plugs. Probably wouldn't hurt to replace the harness on a 10 year old truck if it hasn't been done before.

    Injectors went to Beans and were tested. All passed and the set is balanced. Should have them back Wednesday. I have my new tunes from PHP to try as well.

    Question Block heater cord

    Cut the plug off at an angle so you can match up the plug and wire. Use a meter and check resistance across the plug (wire to blade). You can then match up the wires for each blade on the new plug.
