They aren't really hard. I changed 4 while I was doing my passenger side valve cover harness. Getting the passenger side valve cover off was the hardest part...

Have you checked your glow plug relay? It's a heck of a lot easier to replace that, especially if you've got a stock one...

    Circulating Tank Coolant heater

My FPHE is inline type...installed on the frame-rail. It would be neat to have it mounted to the side of the tank, though...it would give off some residual heat to help. My hotfox is in my stock tank, with the aux gravity fed into the stock. So, I don't utilize the pickup and sender on the aux...

It also may not be able to find the database listed. See if you can use Windows Explorer to browse to the path you have in the first error message.

    Circulating Tank Coolant heater

Yes, that's the place. One note I found...that heater doesn't have a regular thermostat, but does shut off at 250*.... http://www.fuelinjection.net/zerostart/catalog_automotive_zs.pdf Page 71

    Question on drivers

What email program are you using? Most email clients do not use SQL, so it should be unrelated to that. Is that a part of the error you get when opening your email? What's the rest of the error say?

    Circulating Tank Coolant heater

So...do you already have your hotfox plumbed, or is that what you're trying to do with all of this? I plumbed my hotfox and fuel filters into the heater hoses. The one on the left (looking towards the back) is the supply, the other is return. I just Tee'd into those. I'd bet that you could...

    Clutch Replacement

I think it's my fuel pump. Been doing a bit of diagnostics on it...cracked a return line, it doesn't pump anything back there. Will be replacing that next week. So far, my clutch has gone about a quarter-mile. Truck died after putting it in, so I haven't had a good chance to test it out...

    12V wiring question

Smaller items, yes. As long as the current is broken, it will work. You still want to put a fuse as close to the battery on the hot side as you can...if you have a short or something like that, you can do a lot of damage, and the longer the hot side is, the greater the chance. A relay can be...

    Clutch Replacement

Got this done last night.... Took two of us about 7 hours total. We found a good way to get the two top tranny bolts out...one of us under the truck, the other on top, having the top guy guide the socket onto the bolt and hold it there, while the person under the truck does then wrenching...

Good job! sounds like everything is going your way... I wait until the coolant gauge hits 180 before switching to WVO. I've never turned OFF my vegtherm, but if you're stuck in traffic, I'd probably shut it off a bit after 200 (maybe 210 or so). Like I say, as long as your driving and not...

    Clutch Replacement

Ordered a new clutch on Tuesday morning...got it Wednesday!:D Went with a Valair stock replacement. So, this is my first time to replace a clutch, and helpful tips anyone can offer? Do we have a write-up somewhere? I plan to tear into this on Saturday evening and all day Sunday. Anything I...

PSI should be the same...especially on diesel. I haven't hooked my gauge back up on WVO since I converted, so I don't really know. Sounds like you are really close! I used my stock switch....just use a voltmeter to find out which wires at the stock tank selector are used when the switch is...

    Plant drive kit install

I mounted my Vegtherm like hheynow did...works really good. On top of the filter, where the cover used to go, there are those two bolts sticking up...use the P clips on that to hold the vegtherm. I probably have a 5 inch run of 30r9 from the end of the vegtherm to the pump... Purging the...

    Plant drive kit install

I purge in about 2 - 3 miles. After I switch, I watch for the temp gauge to go back down to ambient.... I'm sure that it's completely purged by then, because a lot of heat is retained by my brass connections for the sender... Sounds like you're about to have it whipped! I've looked for a...

I mounted mine about the same spot. I don't think it really matters. The closer to the engine, the shorter your purge times are going to be. The closed to the engine, the more hose you need (cause you need three hoses to the back, rather than two to the front.

    1. Your fuel gauge should still work. I think you probably cut out our stock fuel switch...you need to keep that installed, just splice into the two wires to run the pollack. (That's how I did mine, you might need to use the other wires coming into the pollack to make that work, but I'm not...
