    Two temp guages?

I plumbed mine in for my WVO conversion to a brass tee in the heater hose (That's what feeds the oil heaters in the system) It is nice to have, you can tell a LOT more than the dash guage.

Help Needed Oil cooler/water pump/new leak

The nut was just really loose. Not even hand-tight... Tightened it up a bit with the fan clutch wrench I rented to do my water pump...no leaky.

Help Needed Oil cooler/water pump/new leak

Oil cooler/water pump/new leak - RESOLVED OK...so I'm replacing the orings on my oil cooler because it was leaking on the front side. I figured since I was going to have to drain my coolant, it would also be a good time to change my water pump, since it's been leaking. I get everything out...

    Recent '94 Purchase

If it's a 94, you'll run into one of the worst oddities ever. During that one year, for that one engine, the pulleys on all of the accessories are different. It uses a 7 rib belt. It's not available everywhere (they most likely will have to order it). I'd go ahead & get one and keep it on...

    Question Aftermarket fuel tanks

I had thought about getting one and mounting it in the bed for a aux tank, but I think you'll have a difficult time finding a tank that's small enough to fit under your bed. You might look around your area for a big truck salvage yard...probably the best place to start looking for something...

    ebpv as exhaust brake

With it comfigured the way I've got (brake setup), I do need the always on -- in fact, that's about the only setting I use. BUT -- if you do it via the IVS, I wouldn't worry about it. Just a regular switch to arm it, off to use stock.

    Oil Cooler Repair

Anyone done one? Mine is leaking on the front side...just changed the oil, so I'll try to limp along until I can get the parts gathered up. What all do I need, just gaskets probably? :dunno

    ebpv as exhaust brake

You need a three position switch. One on position will run to a switched 12V source, Like your radio... When you switch to that, it will signal the valve to close (and stay closed until you switch it off). The Off postion will be just off (This is my "stock" mode). The other On you'll run a...

    ebpv as exhaust brake

If you don't have it hooked up via the PCM, then yes, it won't affect it at all. Are you thinking a totally manual switch, or something else? I've thought it would be cool to hook it up to the IVS, so when you let off the gas, it turns on. I've got a three position switch on mine...

    Broken interior door handle

I don't believe there is a nut (loose)...that bolt should just thread onto the base itself.

    Broken interior door handle

You can do it with the door panel on...Scott is right, there is just one bolt holding it on. When I did mine, I went ahead & took the door panel off, it was just easier that way to see what you're working with.

Injector Miss - Oil spout Oddity

Are you saying you've got some...I know you might, please tell me you do? (Or got the tool to work on the stockers?)

    Slipping

I'm going to say dirty clutch too. I had a fuel leak up top, it ran down onto the flywheel and sure made me think my clutch was going south. Once I got the leak fixed, it took a few good slips to burn that stuff off.

Injector Miss - Oil spout Oddity

Patrick wins this one...that's sure enough what my problem was. very loose. I tightened it as best I could with the 4MM socket, couldn't really get a good hold on it. I've done some reading, I'll be calling Mylex Intl tomorrow to see about ordering replacement screws with TORX heads on them...

Injector Miss - Oil spout Oddity

I've been chasing down a miss for quite a while. Several months back, I noticed that the passenger side wiring harness was burnt, so I replaced all of the stuff on that side. Still a miss. Today, I had some time to tear into the truck, and ran it without the valve covers. Passenger side...

    285/75r16

I've got 265/75 16's on mine, and I get a bit of rubbing during sharp turns. I think you'll have much the same problem with 285's, but not sure how much of a difference it'd make. Personally, 265 is about as big as I'd go. Looks good to me, not too small, and not too fat, either..

how to do ebpv gutting and aih deletein

Freeze plugs are 20MM. You tap the hole where the actuator is, so the turbo is still getting oil, it just doesn't actuate anything anymore.

    EBP Sensor 1813658C2

It's not necessary at all for your temps there. I'd probably go ahead & gut it.. I was under the impression that the only "sensor" part of the EBPV was the oil temp sensor on the HPOP res. There is a connection on the drivers side under the turbo inlet that is just the "power" for the...
