    250 king ranch - $57,500

I love their slogan ... "for the rest of your life" Shoot, at $57K, it's more like: "Buy this truck and you'll pay on it .. for the rest of your life" Or "When you need parts -- we'll be here to take your money ... for the rest of your life"

    Power Steering Hose Explosion

My power steering pressure hose exploded again today. This happened to me about 2 years ago. Blew the hose right off the nut on the pump. I guess this is pretty commonplace, is there a better hose than what you'd get at autozone? That's the same failure I experienced last time. Is there...

    can the power mirrors?

Here you go... Here's one that has the mirrors in the "Towing" position, you can just rotate the top and flip the mirror so that it all fits within the size of the base.

    can the power mirrors?

I'm looking for a picture... My 94 has some ford mirrors, they're not the paddle type, and they're not like the ones you have pictured above. They have a base, like a tripod, but has four legs, don't know what you call that, but it's big. You can rotate the mirrors in like I have them all of...

    wiring question

I'm by no means an electrician, but I think you'd just ground the second switch. That's assuming that the first switch is just your basic on/off two terminal switch.

    Noob with noob questions

I'll only comment on the price, I think that's a bit on the high side. Bought my 94 350 with 146K on it 3 years ago (before high gas prices) for $7,500. It's crew cab, 2wd. With that many miles, I would think you could get them down to about 7k. Does it have any extras?

What is it? Mine's leaking and I need a new one..

It's the Restricted Fuel Filter Sensor I got one from the ford dealer, about $60.00. Not sure -- you may be able to find a part number for it and see if an auto parts store has it. No one around here but the dealer could find it. Found the part number: Fuel Filter Restricted sensor; on...

    Oil Wieght Differences

What difference does different weight oil make? Reason I ask.. Up until last winter, I always used Rotella T 15W40. During the winter last year, I noticed that under hard acceleration, something was slipping. RPMs did increase, but no speed was gained. OK..I figured it's probably the...

    Glow Plugs & Misc

Been having problems starting for a year or more. Truck has 236,000 miles, and I know the plugs and relay hasn't been replaced since I got it, back when it had 146k on it...for that matter, nothing major has been done on it since that time. I was planning on just replacing all of the glow...

    Removing Fuel Bowl

I think I've got it all fixed. What was leaking was the "Restricted Fuel Filter Sensor"...about $60 from a dealer. The parts guy said he goes through a lot of them. It screws into the base of the fuel bowl, facing rearwards. I did find the water in fuel sensor, but that one is on the drivers...

    Removing Fuel Bowl

Alright...I got it.. I didn't have the water bleed hose disconnected, and the line going to the pump was stuck pretty good. I think I found my leak, too... There is a piece, looks kind of like a bell that threads into the base of the bowl...it's some kind of sensor. It was leaking down...

    Removing Fuel Bowl

Need a little help.. I'm trying to track down a fuel leak, it appears to be coming from the fuel bowl...not sure if it's the bowl itself, or a connection. I'm trying to get that thing taken off so I can inspect it, but I must be missing a bolt or something.. I tooke the two 1/2 bolts...
