    Front Sway Bushings

While greasing up some stuff under my truck, I noticed that I have a front sway bar bushing that's torn and destroyed. I hope that's the source of my annoying squeak. So -- I'm looking for a new bushing. JOAT's parts list shows this: (Energy Suspension) 4-5106 (front sway arm...

    Interior door handle broken

I think I've got a temporary fix for this. What I did was twist the handle portion, twisting the wire to make it tighter. I only turned it 4 or 5 times around, but it makes a HUGE difference. I'm thinking about going around to the other 3 doors and doing it to them too. It's like a new door...

    whats a 95 f350 7.3 dually worth?

He must do a lot of camping! So, is he including the hitch with it too? If it's in good shape, I'd go for it. You may want to negotiate, see if you can get him to drop it a thousand bucks. Worst he can do is say no. Just go into the deal knowing that stuff IS going to start...

    whats a 95 f350 7.3 dually worth?

Blue Book private party value is about $7,200. That's XL package, 2WD, no extras. All of that will just add to the value. Does the owner have service records, how well was it maintained? BTW -- Welcome to SDD!

    Alabama's 'Hogzilla' A real SuperDuty

I think the picture with the hog hanging from the front-end loader looks fishy. From that angle, it doesn't appear to be 10'7" tall like they claim in one of the other photos.

    New Bio-Diesel System

Bears, where are you from? I found lye at a car wash distributor, it's sodium hydroxide, or caustic soda. I bought a 40 pound bag for about $40.00, and it's lasted me two summers and still have most of it left. You can also find Roebic at Lowes, and Red Devil Lye is available in some smaller...

    New Bio-Diesel System

Do you wash your finished biodiesel? It seems like you must be getting some methanol into your biodiesel to have more biodiesel than you started with as oil.

    Dirty Clutch

Seems to work pretty good. As I accelerated on the way to work, each shift between 2 & 3 I did that. I've got 7 or 8 shots at that, now it seems to be grabbing MUCH better (maybe not 100% yet, I think I'll do it a few more times). Thanks for the tip.

    Dirty Clutch

For quite a while, I have had a oil and guel leak. I finally got both of them taken care of, and I'm not leaking any more fluids. My problem is that while the fuel was leaking, it leaked down onto the flywheel/clutch and when I accelerate slightly more than normal, it begins to slip. I know...

    Big Oil Leak

So far, so good. Got about 400 miles on it since repairs were done, no leaks yet. Tomorrow I go on a 500 mile trip, should be a good test. Thankfully, he warrants his work for 6mo or 6000 miles, so if it springs a leak before then, it'll be OK....
