coolant question
if its clean and test well then yes just add the water.. you may find after a couple of day's she be a little low again... not sure why but i have added over a gal to my truck because it was about qrt low and it still reads low after a couple day's...no leaks no nothing..i have added nothing in...- early 99 stroker

yes it will run ok...but it would be better to up grade your HPOP and IDM as well as the AD's from a 99.5-03 truck to make her run like a 99.5-03 truck......- early 99 stroker

FYI 7.3 Letdown @3AM /11 Degrees F
the heater doesnt do a thing about gellin..keeping good clean treated fuel in the tank is the key..we get 20 bellow 0 for weeks on end alot around here and i have yet to gell..i have no fuel heater..not even a fuel bowl..my 10 micron filter before the pump and the 2 micron filter after the pump...- early 99 stroker

Glow plug relay's
standing in front of the truck..the first relay is for the IAH..the second one back is for your glow plug's..if your truck doesnt fire when the WTS light goes out..turn on the key.. cross the 2 big lugs with a screw driver for about 30 seconds at least..then see if she fires..if it does..then...- early 99 stroker

Question Fuel bowl leak? parts?
yes you can..when you put the new sleeves in..hand tighten till the nut bottoms out on the sleave..then with a wrench give them a 1/2 turn...turn on the key..dont start..just let it build fuel PSI..look for leaks..if you see one..give it another 1/4 turn...if you tighten down real tight with a...- early 99 stroker

twin tail pipes
loosen the spare and push it to the driver side tail light and re tighten..I'm running 5" exhaust and have a couple inches between the tire and tail pipe.- early 99 stroker

HPOP hoses
i found the little wrench to my dremel works perfect..slip it in give a little twist..the line pops right off..took a little messing around on the first hose to find how it works..after that it went smooth on 2 pump swaps..- early 99 stroker

some 7.3 questions
any time you run out of fuel your letting air in the fuel lines..not a good thing for these injectors..they dont like that at all..it takes a good 50 to 100 miles to get all the air out.. as far as oil leaks..if it leaks where the oil level drops in the HPOP or in oil rail your letting air...- early 99 stroker

blown off rubbers
clean the boot and the pipe so its oil free...brake clean or simple green works well...spay them with hair spray and clamp them down..the hair spray works like glue when it dries....if you crank too much you will crush the pipe..after its clamped take her for a couple easy going rides to get...- early 99 stroker

Help Needed 99 F250 auto transmission noise?
any where from 800 to 1500 depending on your mods and plans for your truck...the flex plate might be worth looking into as well..with the rattling TC in the 99 trucks the flex plate where not all that great ether..pull the plastic cover off from between the trans and motor and check it...- early 99 stroker

sounds like you need a new TC..the early 99 has always had a bad rattle that came from the TC..it drove me crazy as well..the new tripile disc is much better..- early 99 stroker

best thing to do is clean the valley out with simple green and water..start her up and see if you can find it right off..if you dont..take it for ride and check again..there are a lot of places it could leek..if you dont see it right off..at least tell us what part of the valley collect oil...- early 99 stroker
