    are you looking to delete the EBPV or use it as an exhaust brake?? the pluged ebpv would be the tube down on the pasanger side exhaust manifold..you will see a steel line(looks like a fuel line) that comes out of the manifold and goes up to the front of the motor and connects the exhaust back...

    i hear ya there..mine seem to blow at the worse time..nice to know i have them on hand now..Don't worry about the o-rings drying out or cracking, The shelf-life of DuPont Viton is indefinite, they won't go bad from air, heat, sunshine or time.

    second look at your sig and i see you have a 2002 F350 4WD CC long bed Lariat, is this the truck your going to mod?? if so you dont want any parts for the early 99..they wont fit and they flow less air then the 99.5-03 turbo..they make the same parts for your 02...

    deleting it will free up the exhaust a bit for a little faster spool up and lower egt's a tad.the biggest benny is you wont need to worry about the actuator rod in the peistal leaking oil like they like to do often.i did both deleting my self with the stock turbo then got the deleted parts to go...

    it may be a good thing for us early 99 or OBS trucks to do once a year because we have no screen in the reservoir...other wise its not really needed..as said above..the oil is pumped out and refilled in a matter of minutes...take what ever Bill says with a grain of salt..

    not true....this mod opens the injector sooner..a chip can only controle the fuel use it gets..the chip or any chip cant controle when the injector opens and close...the IDM does that....this mod will give you a better low end grunt and a tad more fuel for your tunes to play with....it also...

    that would be fly wheel HP..take 20% for drive train loss...you can also find the sticker on the passanger side valve cover that will tell you the same thing...HP at the rear wheels would depend on gears your running as well...3.73 SRW or 4.10 DRW

    i moded my own with a 5 cent resistor and gaind about 30 HP for my early 99..the 99.5-03 will gain maybe 25HP..its a simple mod to do..the the OBS and early 99 has the 110V IDM the 99.5-03 has a 120V IDM..putting in this resistor makes them a 140V IDM.. what it does is it opens the injector...

    i love mine...i had a moded stocker with my stage 2's..when i droped in the 38R it dropped my EGT's about 150* faster spool up with less smoke and more go with this turbo...
