    you will gain...just not on the gauge other then it moves i little quicker cause its a ball bearing turbo...but it is also moving 33% more air then you are moving right now...

    pulling campers or sled pulling?? as far as camper pulling its great..faster spool up and more air flow....a stocker at 25 30 PSI is building heat and at the end of its map..the GTP 38R at 30 PSI is about 1 to 1 on back PSI and the end of the map is at 40 PSI....just putting this turbo on isnt...

    look around more...auto meter and isspro also have a oil temp gauge...very important when towing heavy or playing hard...i run my oil 8,000 miles..if it run's hot for most of the time..ill change the oil sooner,,

    yes just the cooler...not the end cap's..if you dont run a coolant filter the grit that shows up in these truck's will plug the oil cooler...

    take it apart and try flushing it...if it where me and i new my coolant temp was ok but oil temp is hot ..the oil is the right oil and been change when its sapose to be..id just buy a new one..

    if the coolant temp's are normal id say your oil cooler is plugging up...oil sould not be much higher then coolant 10 - 20*

    the newer one has more whistle cause it has less chatter then the older one...i love mine but i drive tractor trailer and hear turbo whistle all day long...

    go with Beans and if you get a custom chips have beans do the tuneing..Beans injectors are built by Ryan cass at full force (link in my sig)..very good builder and stands behind his work...his injector are flow tested to within 3 cc of eachother..you dont need the LL in #8..

    as far as head gasket you will want fel-pro or if your going big HP you will want fire rings..if you dont use one of them you will be putting in a new set in down the road..head gasket is something you dont want to go the cheap rout on..

    i got ITP's intank fiter kit.and the filter base napa #4770 2 micron NAPA Wix filter 3528..i am going to run 5/8 line though ITPS filter through the pump then into the 2 micron then 1/2 up to the ITP bowl delete block..feeding both heads then though the regulator and run 3/8 back to the tank...

    when you get down to 1/4 - 1/8 of a tank the mixing chamber allows air to get into the fuel system..this air has no place to go except for the injectors...once the air gets in..it takes 50 to 100 miles after re fueling to work the air all out and the truck start run smoother and quiter.. .there...

    i did the same thing to my 99 in the fuse pannel under the hood there is a large green 30A fuse..cant remember where it was....but it was blown out..replaced it and she fired right up...use a test light..turn key on and test both sides of the fuses..
