    Bump Steer

How much is the steering wheel moving? I'd be concerned that a stock vehicle has that much bump steer. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

    Put on some miles

We took a family vacation for the 4th of July to visit some friends in Washington. We stayed just outside of Portland as they're not too far from there. We took the truck and of course it didn't miss a beat. Almost 2600 miles from Monday night to Saturday evening. We hit a few bugs on the way.

    110 volt 400w outlet

That's wattage. Current is in amperage. My guess is the current rating for the plug in the truck isn't quite enough.

    110 volt 400w outlet

What's the current limit on the plug in the truck and how much current does the pad need?

    PS line failures

Could it just be the replacements are that bad? Maybe getting a line made up at a hydraulic shop would be worth it.

    Cracked Paint

Has anyone had an issue the paint cracking on top of the cab? I noticed it last time I was waxing the roof. I've been thinking about getting the roof wrapped to help protect it. I guess this will push me to get it done sooner.

    I love my Power Stroke!!!!

I guess the years make a difference. My friend just picked up a 2011 Dodge Ram Sport. Its "only" a 1500 however. But its still a decent truck. Rides nice. Decent power. I still wouldn't give up my 250 for one though. A couple months ago we took the trucks to a local "track" for some grudge...

    2018 box lights

That's handy. Must be something for the newer trucks. I'd check to see if there's a gasket that might not be seated correctly. Beyond that I would seal them with some RTV.

Are you talking about the tail lights?

    Wheel shake

This. I bought a new set of tires for my Mountaineer years ago. One of them was egg shaped from the factory. That took some fighting to get taken care of. Even the tires on my Expedition had a shake at 70mph when new. They balanced out fine. It was just bad tires.

    Engine noise

Hard to diagnose sounds over the internet. Does it change with engine temp? When was the last time you changed the oil? Was it there before you changed the oil? What oil and filter are you running? Could also be a pulley. Pull the belt and make sure they all spin smoothly.

    Help Needed 6.0 no start

A slow start means a bad connection somewhere. I know you cleaned the connections, but there's a chance the middle of the cables are corroded. I'd also check the grounds that run to the engine.

    Who trains their dogs

I read somewhere not too long ago that most people don't train little dogs because they're not that hard to handle. Compared to a big dog at least. My shep is probably the best trained out of the 3. When she hears my voice she knows to listen. The rottie has the basics down. As does the shih...

    Brake job gone wrong?

The drilled/slotted rotors are marked for a specific side because of the vanes. Usually the vanes inside are angled to help direct air. But that didn't cause your issue. Were the pads hard to get on? Did everything slide together easily? It almost seems like the pad material was too thick so...

    Getting a P0603 code.

Did you check over the recent work and make sure everything is connected? Did you load a tune for the EGR delete? Does it need a tune for that?

    The SuperDuty Pet Section

The shep is Gemma. She was found abandoned under a trailer by a friend at 8 weeks old. We took her in because he didn't have the room. She's high strung and still has some separation anxiety when I'm not around. She is very much my dog. The rottie/lab mix is Brutus. We got him from friends...

    04 Ford F250 6.0 Getting code P0603

I'd look over the work area first. Make sure nothing got pinched or damaged. Did you load a new tune for the EGR delete?

    DEF

Negative. And the truck stops I tend to stop at when we go to Az don't have it yet.

I keep waiting for that to happen in my neck of the woods.

That would have been awesome to come across. The Walmart by me carries Blue DEF for $12 for the 2.5 gallon jug.

Question What did you do to your truck today?

I just wanted to add something. I've put about 100 miles on the new pads. I went with the Wagner severe duty pads and got both set for $90 from Amazon. I'm pretty happy with them. The truck stops a lot quicker now. Today on the drive home from work I stopped a little faster than I meant to a...

Question What did you do to your truck today?

Been a busy few days for the truck. The dealer put a dye in the oil in order to locate the leak. I have to take it back in a couple weeks to get it checked out. Today I replaced the brake pads. The fronts were toast, but the rears weren't bad. I went ahead and replaced the rears since I had new...

Question What did you do to your truck today?

It's at the dealer getting the coolant flushed and a possible leak checked out. 40k miles has gone by quick.
