    HID's in my X

    Not to run away with this thread but has anyone gotten HID's from www.fashtek.com? Friend put a kit from them in his '05 6.0 and said it only took about an hour to install in the stock headlight with no modifications. Any thoughts?

    Front End Bushings

    The time has come to to do some maintenance yet again. Rear brakes, oil, filters, bearings and front end bushings. With regards to the front end am I better off getting the OEM bushings from FOMOCO or a urethane kit from Energy Suspension et al.? :dunno

    diesel fuel additives

    I use Power Services's Diesel Kleen as well depending on where I get my diesel(I tend to trust truck stops more than regular service stations that sell diesel) and how often I drive my truck. As Bama said "the grey bottle is the anti-gel formula" and the white bottle is the "summer" version...

    Welcome I run a 4 inch straight pipe with a turndown just under the cab/bed gap. I love it especially the whistle of the turbo:sweet . The only thing I don't like 100% of the time is the noise level. Can be very loud inside the cab from 1-3 gears. But that ( I believe) depends on the length...

    Thanks for the welcome and the info. I had an off-brand chip on the truck when I bought it but I removed it because the EGT's went through the roof:eek: and it poured black smoke (not that there's anything wrong with that every now and then:sweet ). I'm not dis-satisfied with the Bully Dog...

    Does anyone have any experience/opinions with the 6 position chip from Elite Diesel? Is the tuner better even though it only holds 3 programs vs. the 6 on the chip?

    Bully Dog

    I have a 02 F-250 set on the extreme setting and I get 18 +/- in the city and 20 +/- on the hwy. (sometimes a little better). It all depends on how heavy your foot is.
