    I haven't had any problems with my 2011 that I bought in May 2010. Just pulled our 31'TT from WA to NY to NM. I think the turbo and trans issues have been weeded out.

    Joe, I don't think tow/haul does anything in Manual mode since you are the one doing the shifting. I normally tow in Drive and lock out the upper gears when needed. I use manual to force an upshift when I want to accelerate at the bottom of a grade. My truck seems to hold the low gear...

    Didn't void the warranty. It only replaces everything behind the emissions equipment (or a delete pipe if you do choose to void your warranty). I haven't really noticed a change in the sound. The truck is still very quiet unless you add a delete pipe.

    You still manually shift. You only need one opposing thumb.;tu If I am empty I'll lock it in 3rd when in traffic. Just don't forget to unlock the upper gears. It will let you run it to redline and you will hardly hear it.

    Enjoy the new truck. There are times where you will miss the 7.3 but you will get through it after about two years. The technology in these new trucks is amazing. I am really enjoying Sync and the fact that the noise level in the cab is only based on how loud I have the stereo.

    Installed the Hellwig Big Wig rear sway bar. My truck didn't come with a rear sway bar so it is a HUGE improvement. It has three settings and I have it on the lightest and it will hold corners at least 10mph faster than before without effort or concern.

    Joe, I would look at an airbag set up as well. These new trucks squat easier than the old ones. You will want something to get the headlights back on the road.

    MBRP, AFE, and a few others make a DPF back kit. I have the 5" MBRP kit with a 6" tip.

    I do not like this new look. Way too busy. I'll check back now and then but I don't plan on being here everyday. Plenty of other sites that are much more friendly on the eyes.

    TailGate Striker Bolts

    I would think that a longer bolt wound not fix the problem. If the bed sides are pushed out, the striker bolts are probably not perpendicular to the tailgate and won't latch. You could possibly find some carridge bolts that are the same diameter as the striker bolts and make your own.

    I'm glad I am not the only one. I have the 3.55 and it pulls my 35' TT faster than I really need to. The truck seems to speed up on uphill grades.

    Finally took a picture of the adjustable high idle. Idle control is to the left of the 12v plug. Airbag up and down is to the right.

    Found some pictures: You can get a knob for the potentiometer from radio shack. I mounted mine next to the 4x4 switch. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow. Here is the potentiometer

    Air bags. The new leaf springs (08+) are longer to give a better ride empty but it doesn't take much to squat the truck. I am running bags on mine with in cab controls since I have an on board air system.

    It took me a leisurely two hours to do the deletes. Only difficult part is lifting the DPF. It is heavy.

    You will need to re-install the DPF and EGR in order to pass emissions testing. You will also need to reload the stock programing.

    Make them fix it. There seem to be some trucks that go through turbos and others that have no issues.
