    Has anyone installed the EGR up-pipe? How difficult was it. I'm a pretty good mechanic, but this is only my second diesel truck, so I always ask alot of questions before doing anything. I don't need an expensive lawn ornament.

    EGR Cleaning. Looks great. I'll have to give it a try. My motor has about 65K miles on it. I'll have to get a gasket and o-ring kit for the unit first. I'll post pictures of my unit once I pull it. :)

    EGR block off vs EGR delete I've seen the block off plates and I'm just wondering if I'll encounter any problems using them. I'm not sure I want to go to the full EGR delete kit because I don't know if it would keep me from passing emissions tests in the future. We don't have them around here...

    EGR Delete Kits I'm just wondering if anyone has seen the different type of EGR delete kits and how much of a difference they make. I've seen plugs and kits that replace the EGR pipe with a solid line. Does it really make that much of a difference as long as it's plugged?

    The factory fog lamps run off a relay I believe and if they don't I'll be installing one when I change out the bulbs. I experienced burn switches once before and it's no fun. The almost always burn out at night (because thats when the loads high) and leave you stranded. :)

    Sorry, but I have to disagree. Sorry but I have to disagree. Both my 03 and my 06 are right on the money, plus or minus 1 MPG. I figure my mileage but hand every time I fill up, but I check that against the electronic mileage unit.

    You most likely have 3.73s. 3.55s and 4.10s are a special option. Check you axle take and it will tell you for sure. If you don't want to get dirty and them to look at it the next time you get your oil changed.

    My freeway mileage is good. It's just my in city mileage that sucks. 10 MPG is crazy. Last 6.0L I had did the same thing. I've gotten this one up to 12 MPG, but I don't like running the Edge unit up that high. It doesn't hurt anything, but I get more smoke than I care for.
