    Suspension lift to clear 38"s

Thanks for that info. In the meantime though, Ive heard something about steering issues when running 8"-or-higher lifts. I wouldn't want to go thru something like that, so I think im opting for 4 or 6" lift w. 37" tires. Any thoughts on that? Another question: When ordering wheels and tires...

    Using new veggie oil

I think you would at least need an engine block warmer. As the thicker veg oil cools down, you would risk breaking parts next time you start it cold. Alternatively you would need a conversion with 2 tanks, so you could flush the system with clean diesel, preparing the engine for a normal cold start.

Happy Earth Day... Run your SD clean!

I didn't mean to offend or incite political discussions... It was wrong of me to bring up Al Gore. I only hoped to make everyone think a little and take a stand. I admit that I haven't researched the matter into detail, but I do think that we must all take a step back and form our own...

Happy Earth Day... Run your SD clean!

Inspired by Earth Day, here's some thoughts about environment and our favorite toys. I love my SD. I always wanted one, and I recently got it. I also love the Earth, and want to do my part in securing a healthy planet for generations to come. Somehow those two things combined doesn't seem to...

    Suspension lift to clear 38"s

Ok, as I understand from you guys, the choice should pretty much be Fabtech or Pro Comp? I won't be doing a whole lot of off-roading, but I would like to avoid too much rubbing. So I guess it should be an 8" kit. Are the fabtech kit w/rear blocks levelled? And is it worth the extra cost to buy...

Thanks. You can bet that it's difficult to get the vehicle to Denmark. I bought my Truck from a previous danish owner, though. But the process of getting trucks like mine to Denmark involves transportation (approx. 5.000 $), Toll & taxes (approx 25% of the value of the truck) and finally...

Ok, thanks. Does the mentioned kit involve coils instead of leafs? And what does 4-link mean?

Hi! I bought my 2000 F-250 7.3L Lariat in January 2008. There is maybe a total of 50 F-250s in Denmark (we have a population of approx. 6 million), so its kinda rare. This is because of the pricing. In general cars are very expensive over here, as the state adds between 50-100 % og the...

    Suspension lift to clear 38"s

Hi. I´m new to this forum, so please excuse me if this topic have been brought up earlier. I looked through the old threads but didn´t quite find the answers I need. Anyway, heres the deal: I've just bought a 2000 F-250 7,3, and I would like to throw some 38" Mickey Thompson Radial ATZs on...
