    High EGT

With 120k on my old motor there was no damage to any pistons other then the one I cooked... Using that limit I would expect to see some small cracks in the fuel bowl area after 120-150k, but they will not really propagate any further... I think lots of water injection helped mine...:tounge

    Meth injection

LOL... You will??? WOW, I cant believe I never did running hybrids, with PMR's and 40%meth... Crazy... Water-meth is a very good add to any diesel truck... Read my post above for anything TRUE about water injection.;tu

    High EGT

Crusing around the max I use is 1250, Passing and such I have pegged the 1600 a time or two, sled pulls, and such... With the H2e I have yet to see over 1400 in the race setting and hybrids now!

    Meth injection

I have done cylinder pressure testing with Tadd using water injection, you do not see a jump in pressures until over 30% and at 40% its not huge. I would not go over 40% ever. I agree about a IC, but there is no need to change anything to run water injection, I have well over 160k running...

    Question pyro & boost Guages

Drill tap and install... There is no reason to worry about a few shavings that defy gravity and fall up into the manifold. They will blow right thru the turbo without hurting a thing.

    Meth injection

I have not run it in a OBS, but I would guess you would gain more EGT loss. With stock injectors, race setting and water injection I could not get over 1250 towing up to 14k. Now I do have a IC being a superduty but I also had larger AD injectors over your AA's. Power increase depends on the...

    High EGT

' 1250 is what International says is the sustained pre-turbo MAX. You can tow all day at 1250 and not hurt anything other then your pocket book from fuel milage. To the OP, Check out the Tymar filter out, or an AFE stage 2. Your down pipe is fine, it will not effect your EGT's much at...

I just think it was not worth the hassle... two of my own... two others, and nothing positive I could see...LOL

    EGT sensor location

I run both, they stay within 20-30 degrees most of the time.

    HP Crossover hose

Has nothing to do with lube in the heads... You are crossing the HPOP rails, not a low pressure passage.

    Gauges

Electrical... No MECH gauges, your just asking for trouble. Most boost gauges are mech, and thats ok, but anything else should be an elect gauge. I recomend Isspro, be it peformax or the new EV2

    Towing - Performance

A 1.00 exhaust housing works out great on most trucks, add a WW and its about a perfect set up. There is NO performance gain by adding an ATS housing (compressor housing) but you get rid of surge. But you will gain top end and eleminate 80-90% of surge with an exhaust housing swap.

    Towing - Performance

You should NEVER run a programer without at least a pyro. If you think $300 for a set of gauges is expensive wait until you melt a piston and are looking at a new motor. Remove the programer until you have a pyro at least.

    HP Crossover hose

Maybe it was your tranny upgrade at the same time that made you feel the differance? I added one to mine years ago, and didnt notice a thing. Put one on the wifes X too, just one more thing to remove when pulling the turbo IMHO...LOL To each his own.

LOL... Nope, just glad to have it on finaly. I have been building the kit for about two months and works been a pain, finaly said screw it and just finished and installed it one saturday. I left my video camera at home, but I will get one this weekend and get it loaded up. Its a Beans...

    Time for aTurbo

Bean will not warranty the turbo for anything above stage 2's... There is also PDR's Super GTP turbo, very nice set up.
  22. CSIPSD

    Bigger injectors ?

Stage 2's will be fine with the factory HPOP, Hybrids will be fine with stock HPOP... dont let anyone tell you differant. Stage 2's with good nozzles will put you at 400hp, Hybrids, depending on the Nozzles can go from 450-600... Headstuds can be done with the motor in the truck. When...

    EGT sensor location

IH (the people that make the motor in your truck) say 1250 all day is fine. Only thing that will hurt is your Pocket book due to MPG... Short runs to 1400-1600 are fine to pass and such, its all in your comfort factor after 1250.

    Time for aTurbo

What HP do you want? What size injectors do you plan? Van turbo for stage 1-2 38r with a 1.15 housing for stage 2-hybrids H2e or Turbonetics T-70 for Stage 2-hybrids-B codes

    EGT sensor location

Pre turbo is the only location worth a damn, otherwise you just as well not run one. First pic is drill and clamp, second is drill and tap.
