    Update: found a lot of alum. shavings in the screen of the 1st filter, 2nd filter ( the smaller of the two) was really pretty clean. So, fuel pump is wasted. I've got one waiting for me at the stealership. Will pick up and install tomorrow. To be continued......................

    No, my old shop was next door to the trans shop and they are friends so I got a good deal on services. Cant be too careful with the 2nd most expensive piece of machinery on the truck, ya know. I say that as THE most expensive piece may be getting hosed with filter shrapnel!:doh:

    no problem. You have to ask questions to come to a solution. Trans is fully serviced (fluid & filter)every 20k (so, 1st was at 20k & 2nd. at 40k) Batts are 2 year old Yellow tops (putting out correct voltage) Alt. is new from dealer over summer.     Need members help.

    When I back off the throttle is decelerates as normal (connected) in both drive gears and tow/haul. It feels like more of a surging issue at speed and at take off and idle. You can hear the R's drop and come back.

    OK, my oil burnin bretherin. Trans shop scan and diagnostic show no malfunction with the trans. They HIGHLY reccomend a changing of the fuel filters. Ive got Trap league :hunter tonight so I'll park it and attack it Sat. Thank you all for your help. I'll post an end result.....good or bad.

    22" rims

    Heres my 18x10's on a 37"x13.5 tire. I had to clearance the front plastics quite a bit with a 6" lift. even going from my factory 16's to these 18's I noticed a ride difference with the smaller sidewall. It's more responsive through the turns but rides a little more rough.
