The long awaited crewcab sub enclosure!

WOW! CHeck these out! This is what I wanted BEFORE I went off and built my own. I ran one of these Thunderforms in our Expedition and the sound was amazing from one 10" sub and a 90w amp. MTX Thunderforms - Vehicle Specific Enclosures

    4.30 gears/mileage

SInce you likely cruise at 1200 RPM-ish at 65 mph. bumping up your ratio will bring the engine closer to its stock power band (higher RPM = More fuel) to a point. So yes, your mileage will go down at highway speeds but, your "Stop and Go" (87% of all driving) will be like night and day better...

What subwoofer box for a crew cab 07

The box is 34" wide, 17" tall. 3" deep at the top and 7" deep at the base. The only reason I used those Sony 'subs is because they are very shallow and were the only ones I found that fit. Now there are several super thin subs on the market. The sound is great. And once You replace the garbage...

    6 inch fabtech

I run the 37x13.5x18 Toyos with a 6" lift. I get some tire contact on the right leaf pack at full right turn. Since I did the 2" lift shackles it pushes the axel foreward some. So I didnt rub on the fender skirt I rubbed on the front bumper and lower valance. Good excuse to get out the cut-off...

    Price of Diesel?

$2.80 in Reno at the Truck Stops. $2.90-ish at the smaller stations. Costco just built their second HUGE store here. The only pumps they put in were gas. Does this seem strange? :cussing:

    steering wheel play

I had to make the same adjustment on my truck a few weeks ago. Technically it's simple, physically its a little wierd. I had to pull out my air box and secondary battery to get on top of the steering box. Going in through the fender skirt was not an option. My alignment guy at Les Schwab tells...

    Emblem Question

That black paint was a chore to get off. I masked off the emblem from the fender then used a fast paint reducer (or mineral spirits) with an old toothbrush and "POOF"! Black go bye-bye. Try not to combine the heat gun method with this one......unless you want that realistic flame job.:roflmao

    level kit?

I got an alignment last week (new tires) $40.25 + tax. The alignment isnt any harder on our trucks. And, if your at a newer shop, or a large chain store, (i.e. Les Schwab,Big-O etc.) they will have some of the newest technology on their alignment racks to get your rig in-n-out quick and...

    I TRADED!!!

The only thing from the new rigs that I want is the tailgate. I WILL have one. I WILL make it fit. It WILL be nice to not have to jump up onto my old 'gate and lean on the 'ol knee caps.:sweet The "single mom" pole is a little wierd but I can work through that.

    Door Seal Mod

The "hush mat" option is well worth the time it takes to get the interior panels pulled off and get the mat all layed out and wrinkle free.
