    coolant filter thoughts

Regarding Fuel Filter I guess I'm in a unique situation when it comes to a fuel filter. I don't run bio-diesel, rather I run a Waste Vegetable Oil blend. Simply put, used cooking oil that has been filtered and then thinned out with mostly kerosene. Whatever I use as a filter, it has to be...

    coolant filter thoughts

Who's Bob? I'm interested in any sources out there. Dieselsite.com seemed to be about the only place I found that offered the coolant, trans, oil, and fuel filters that looked tailor made for my truck. With my limited experience I need to keep things as simple as possible when it comes to...

    coolant filter thoughts

I was getting ready to ask the same thing... On my early '99 I'm thinking of installing this: http://www.dieselsite.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=8 and then later adding the oil bypass filter, the transmission bypass filter and finally the fuel filter / water seperator all...

i got my new banks ram-air intake today

I currently have the stock intake system with a K&N drop in element. I'm thinking of getting the Tymar type filter element from NAPA and putting it in place of the stock set up. I just read at another section on this forum that the stock set up provides more than enough air flow for my...

new addict needs cheap new tricks

Tymar Question I think I want to do the Tymar air filter mod. When I looked at the stock box on my '99 I see a sensor inside. What do I do with this factory sensor (air temp. sensor?) that is wired into the stock filter box? What about the stock filter restriction guage? Does this Tymar...
