    I did a seach for "pmr" looking for powdered metal rods. Came back with no results. SO... I did a seach on "rods", and got results. BUT I also ran across pmr in one of the posts that had "rods" in it. Why didn't the search engine find pmr?:dunno

    Sure.. they are good for letting fine dust into your engine. Go with a lager paper filter. Your engine with thank you.

    Early 99's are well known for TC issues. The "goes away under acceleration" is the give away. That's where I put my money.

    NC will give you a big fine for bio-diesel use.

    You can run all the alt. fuels you want. Just pay the taxes. (their rules not mine) It sucks, but until people speak up and have the laws changed, you have to play by the current rules.

    Cowl Hood for OBS?

    80-96 Ford Truck HAs fiberglass hood. I don't know about the quality, but being fiberglass, some body will need to be done for a correct fit.

    I haven't used POR 15 on the pan but I've used it on other things, and the stuff works very well. I would try it.
