    I had oil in the valley that dripped down the back of the motor from oil pushing out the x pipe couplers. took that out cleaned it up and reinstalled with hair spray and immediately did the CCV mod so that would never happen again.

    funny thing is, is when I started out looking for a diesel truck this was what I was looking for. I swear I remembered a diesel ranger or a explorer with a small diesel engine with tons of toque. must have been dreaming.

    these things burn oil. im down quarts come oil change time every time. but my exhaust will never ever smell like gas/fuel. I suspect you might want to pick up a real time fuel pressure gauge to check on your fpr mod. oil burning cant cause a hiccup. :drink

    id say you would be able to smell at the exhaust tip if it was unburnt fuel or oil. if its oil then I could bet on someone cut a o ring when installing the new injectors. buy a kit for all eight and re-install all 8. :coffee if its fuel then maybe you might want to re-do the shim mod.

    dont use just any ball joint, unless you like doing ball joints every month or so. I used moog from recommendations from here and they have been holding strong for over three years. and it took a lot of force on the wheel to get the ball joint to wiggle. AND DID IT WIGGLE!!!

    dont get the $100 and something one from ebay. that has been on my truck for not even two years and its rusted bad and the finish was absolutely horrific. I think stock chrome bumpers where any were from $400 to $600. or you can try car-part.com
