    My truck did the same thing. Sounds like a clock spring in the steering wheel. I replaced it and it all worked again. The GEM is another issue that I hope I will not have to deal with. Good luck.

    Bama, that's what I am riding on now and have gotten 40K+ out of them so far. Not a bad tire but they have high and low spots on all of them. I am thinking my truck could ride better :dunno I considered getting them trued but what's the point now. I think I will go with different ones next...

    Make sure it is not your track bar....the guy at the ford dealer told me it was my sway bar end links too. turns out it wasn't..it was the track bar bolts loose. If you turn the wheel left very slightly while parked and it pops, I would be willing to bet it's that.

    Any noticeable leaks? I know sounds crazy but my fuel bowl drain o-rings only leaked during the colder months and I believe that hindered the truck starting for me last year. This year there was only one morning that it acted stupid on me.

    Since I cannot rent a set of manifold gauges anywhere I suppose I will ake it to a shop and ask them to hook it up to get readings. :dunno Dieselsite's Max A/C assist helped some but not as much as I had hoped. Good product though and easy to hook up. I am sure if my A/C system worked...

    As far as Gale Banks goes, don't buy his stuff. He doesn't feel like the 7.3L is a good platform anymore. No offense to the 6 leaker guys. I would probably go with the 38R as it is reasonably priced, should clean up stage 1s nicely.
