    When you take the inner fender out it is in the upper right side behind the 250 or 350 emblem. It is not easy to get to or see. I think 2 screws hold it in. T.Tolle

    early 99 hub assembly

    I have late 99 bearings & early 99 rotors. I just put spacers where the caliper bolts on. There is about 3/16 " differance.

    A buddy just told me that there are 2 fuel filters in the tank. His truck is a 2002 & my truck is a early 1999. Do I have a filter inside my tank ???

    This may sound strange , but I had a chattering relay like that . I cleaned the battery posts , put some antisieze ( copper ) on the posts & the problem went away.

    need confirmed.. hub question

    I put the newer bearings in & only had to space the brake caliper out about 3/16". I had to do this in a rest stop at night , about 400 miles from home. 60,000 miles later it is still OK.

    BTS Brian`s Truck Shop & Suncoast. They are the 2 I know of , I have not had to change my trany yet , but the next one I want to brake something behind the transfer case, not just slip.

    Yea, look at the top of the page at the crank shaft senser wright ups. Have you had the CPS recall done yet? It won`t take long to change the CPS & see if the problem goes away.

    I can change a CPS while sleeping - no marks on the cps. I`m thinking of taking .0020 off the cps to put it closer to the cam to see if the problem gets better. I`m not sure if I have a timing problem with the cam or the cps is too far away to get a good signal or both. This miss just became...

    Try taking the flywheel inspection plate off to see if it gets louder . It may be the torque converter.

    From what I understand the gear has a key to the shaft & if the gear is floating front to back the CPS gets a signal & looses the signal. The problem is a random miss. With foot to the floor it runs like the scalded ape. The exhaust is 4" all the way from the turbo & can make 25 psi in a heart...
