    I've got 2 HPI Proceeds, 1 Traxxas 4-tec pro, 1 Traxxas 4-tec, 1 HPI Savage SS and a ton of extra (expensive) parts. :doh: And of course the stock plastic parts aren't good enough, put the shiny Aluminum parts on there.

    That is an average of 19.7mph. Which means it idled ALOT! These motors don't like to idle, they need to be RUN. If you get an oasis report and maintenance records from the PO, that might give you a better idea.

    Yup that is what they are for. Just conncet to both ends for whatever you need them for. They should terminate behind the fuse block on the drivers side.

    If you are going to the Int dealer, you can get filters, oil and fuel, the drain plug and most parts for about 1/2 what Ford charges. Same parts, just a white box instead of red.

    Like Dave posted, the oil filter cap is 36mm, it is in the engine bay, not under the truck. Makes it easy and cleaner to change it out.

    Just hooking up to the truck will not tell you if the batteries are good. If the batteries only read 12V, they are on their way out. Should be 12.8V. He can't load test the batteries without disconnecting them. Autozone or an autoparts store should be able to load test them for you. Just...

    Use what the manual says for the weight. Most synthetics have the modifier in them already. If you get "chirping" on tight turns, you will need to add some modifier.

    If you are going to tune the 6.0, go with the SCT with custom tunes. It tunes the engine and tranny. The Edge Insight CTS or CS are great for monitoring ,SCT for tuning.

    One issue with sand bags is that they are frozen 50-80# projectiles if there is an accident. Which happens too much with the white stuff.:doh:
