    Changed my mind....AGAIN!

So, I was getting a bit upset at my mileage (or severe lack thereof) with my 18s and 35s. I found a great price on a set of 08 Harley Wheels and Tires and I picked them up. So, I sold the 35s to a buddy who doesn't worry about mileage too much and bolted these dudes on. I can't wait to get...

    Bentonville, Ark.

My cousin, Ryan is a Police Officer in Bentonville. I'm down there quite a bit in the summer on my "way" to Hot Springs to go wheeling. Stop by if you see a pair of matching Black 08 CCSBs! :D

    What is your Fuel Economy?

That's awesome. I bought my truck on November 19, 2007 and today it has 8752 miles on it.... The sad part is, I've been switching off between the truck and the Jeep!

Part No. for in bed RV plug

I'm wanting to add an in-bed connection for my GN. I hate running the connector through the tailgate, down and around. Plus, if it's not perfect I have a problem of tearing up wiring harnesses.... :rant Anyway, I had heard on the 08s that a number of manufacturers were having issues with...

    Stinger Hitch Helper

I would definitely go with bags over something of that nature. That would scare me to death putting that kind of a kink on your frame! Think about this, you have 5k on the frame rails at the center of your wheel well and then you go and literally twist that back up by reloading the weight on the...

    What is your Fuel Economy?

I agree that these are new motors still, but there are a number of them with over 30k miles still seeing poor mileage. Their numbers are a little bit better, but not significant enough for me. If I can see anywhere near the gains that others have seen with the KEM stuff, it will be worth it time...

    What is your Fuel Economy?

Will do. It's going to be a project for sure, but I figured it will be worth it in the end!

    What is your Fuel Economy?

Mine's getting about 14 unloaded mixed driving on wide 35s. It's a CCSB 4x4. I have been talking to KEM performance and toying with the idea of a full 4" turboback that I'd have to build without the cat or the DPF and then use their programming to bring the mileage up. Everyone I have talked...

    WARRANTY

Yes, it certainly does look like they've gone away from that. I wonder if they'd replace a clutch at 35k on one though? I know on my last mustang that they told me to piss off when I brought it in with a smoked clutch at 14k miles.... That could have been the fact that it was still on slicks...

Everyone gets things a little sideways every now and again. Heck, I do it at least once a day! Thanks for finding that for everyone Bush. -Rusty

    WARRANTY

I believe the 12/12 is on wearable parts such as brake pads, clutches, etc. The 3/36 covers bumper to bumper minus these parts listed in the 12/12 and the 5/100 is for the Diesel itself.

    WARRANTY

Bush, are you sure on the 3/36 because I'm almost 100% positive that both all of my previous trucks '05 SuperCrew F150, '06 CCSB F-250 PSD and this all have 3/36 Bumper to Bumper on them.

Factory 6 Disc Head Unit value?

CHP, Thanks. I hadn't thought of that. Bush, I completely understand your point. But, there are a ton of folks out there that demand OEM only and refuse to go aftermarket for whatever reason. On the last couple of Jeeps I built, I sold the OEM cd players on eBay for over 250 bucks and my new...

Factory 6 Disc Head Unit value?

Now that I'm home, I checked eBay as well. I'm going with the Avic-D3 in order to maintain steering wheel controls, not to mention touchscreen navi, backup camera input, dvd player, etc. But, I'll keep my OEM head unit to reinstall when it comes time to sell or trade this truck off...

Factory 6 Disc Head Unit value?

You think the 6 disc in dash changer is only worth 50 or 100 bucks? Wow, ok I'll probably just keep it for that much. If I ever trade it in, I don't want to give them the Navi head unit.

Factory 6 Disc Head Unit value?

How much do you guys think my factory changer would be worth? I'm looking at the AVIC-D3 from Pioneer and I have been since I picked the truck up in November. I think I'm ready to bite the bullet on it, but I was hoping I could recoup some of the cost from my stock head unit. TIA, Rusty

    New pics of new wheels!

Why the frown Powerstrokeguy? Thanks Justin. I really am enjoying it. I can't wait til spring so I can get the bumpers and flares painted to match and get the Harley Headlights in it with my new HID kit :D I'm waiting on my transfer flow toolbox/tank combo right now so I have a little...

    hows the new f250sd??

True true. I don't think you'll have any issues whatsoever in the heat. These trucks get their best mileage when their warm anyhow....(not that it really matters :D )

    hows the new f250sd??

I haven't heard of anything major. My only complaint is fuel economy. And, near as I can tell, that's simply the cold and winter blend of fuel that are causing this issue. I have no real complaints aside from that on mine. I love this truck!

    Anyone pulled 24K w/ their 08' F450 yet??

sledpuller, I'm not trying to start anything here, but I really don't think BigRed's response was attempting to slam you or anyone on here. He was just simply asking if anyone had done it. We all appreciate your input on the subject, but there is no need to get upset. We're all on here...

Dang, I'm hoping mine doesn't develop those issues!

    Something Different..

Putco is a great outfit. My buddy actually works for them and they stand behind their products 100%. I really enjoy dealing with them. They are definitely coming up with some cool new stuff too. I'm ordering LEDs for all of our trailers!
