    Hypertech Max Energy

I've seen 40 in my truck pulling the GN up a steep grade loaded so I would think 40-42 would be about max. I don't foresee getting over that. I suppose we'll see though!

    Hypertech Max Energy

The 6.4s, knock on wood, haven't had the head gasket issues like the 6.0s. I suppose we'll see on this thing. I love the truck, I just want a bit more power when pulling my GN and mileage gains would be nice as well.

    Hypertech Max Energy

Dogman, Thanks for the tip. I will check into that. I know that was an issue with the 6.0 trucks. I'm not 100% sure that it applies to the 6.4 but it might. Thanks, Rusty

    Hypertech Max Energy

I just installed the intake last night and filled up on my way to the office this morning. I don't know yet, but it did seem to have less lag and better throttle response. The seat of the pants meter didn't give me too much of a woohoo or anything though. It does sound better! The...

    Hypertech Max Energy

Awesome DeFord, I appreciate the response. I am ordering it this afternoon I believe! The intake was a nice increase, but I think the programmer will do much much more! :sly

    Hypertech Max Energy

So, I was picking up my S+B intake last night and my buddy was telling me his contacts were raving about the Hypertech programmers for the 6.4s. Supposedly, their clients are seeing 3-5 mpg gains and are very happy with the power combo. Has anyone heard anything about these? I've seen them, but...

I did it! Sounds like a real truck

DRW - I had a tick, but now that it's warmer, the shop can't hear it and neither can I. So, the time is coming for a new tune :D

    MPG question

My old 6.0 with 60k miles on it was consistently getting 18-19 mpg running 70. It was CCSB 4x4 with an automatic. It was a 3.73 truck with factory 20s leveled with 350 blocks out back. It just seemed to take some time to get mileage. It did have full turbo back with no kitty as well. No...

I did it! Sounds like a real truck

Taylor, What are the mileage numbers looking like with the kit? I'm very interested so I can get mine done as soon as it comes out of the shop. -Rusty

anyone have ticking sound while idleing.

Randy, I think my truck has the same issue as yours. You definitely can't hear mine from in the cab though. It's off and on and definitely spiratic. I'm going to take mine to the dealer Monday or Tuesday and hopefully they can figure it out. I need my truck in two weeks to pull two jeeps to...

    KEM Performance DPF delete

kemperfomance.com The guy's name is Mike. I'm holding off on doing it as a tick has developed at idle in my motor...makes me a bit nervous about adding another 200 hp to it!

    Lonely trip

Max, Let me know when you're in Branson. We're not too far from there and I'd love to visit with you if the timing happened to coincide. -Rusty

    KEM Performance DPF delete

You got it Mike. I met him on SVTP and now we order all of our replacement sheet metal, electronic parts, etc. through him. My dad and I do a bunch of rebuilders and we tend to like Tousley's pricing much better than our local guys. :D

    hows the new f250sd??

I've spoken with both KEM and Spartan diesel. These trucks are seeing a 200dyno proven horsepower gain. Matt's truck put down 490 horses and 854 lb-ft of torque. I've heard some great mileage numbers with these tunes as well. I plan on picking up my tuner in the next week or so with the DPF...

    New pics of new wheels!

I liked the black wheels, I just didn't like them throwing crap all over my truck all the time. So, I sold them. I like the harleys although I'm going to have to get the paintwork, headlights, HIDs, etc done sooner than I thought for it to look right.

    08 dpf delete and exhaust

Check out Spartan Diesel Technologies or KEM performance. Type either one into google and you will find them. These two guys have programs from stock hp levels with tranny tunes all the way to 200 hp. They both also sell the DPF delete kits. I've heard wonderful things about mileage with...

I did it! Sounds like a real truck

Nice Taylor. I'm ordering my programmer and dpf delete today. KEM has a new 200HP tune that's supposed to just scream! I can't wait to buy a new set of tires...again :D (this time they'll be worn out though!)

    Changed my mind....AGAIN!

Justin, Don't feel bad, I can't figure out what's going on either! Hopefully, I will be done with it sometime soon. The HIDs are ordered and I'm calling on the HD headlights today. Hopefully, my paint guy can get to it soon as well. :sly

    Changed my mind....AGAIN!

Gunman - I love my truck. I complain about mileage, but that's it. Blue01 - That seems high for a used rig, especially with the miles. But, at least you know it was used and hasn't been sitting in the shop for 6 out of the 7 months!

    Changed my mind....AGAIN!

LOL...Just got back to this thread. Yeah yeah I wasn't going to mod this one. But, we all know how that goes. The count is up to 5 different sets of wheels/tires that have been on this one now. I'm an aftermarket tire/wheel dealer on the side though so I don't tend to lose too much $$ on...
