    just go to river city diesel .com and buy theirs.. prob one of the best kits on the market.. they ll even install it for ya. eliminates egr cooler and valve.

    haha.. yeah truck loaded still pulls good... yeah i figured if hooked somthing too it, it would find somthing, but no annoying light. i cant wait to cut open my first filter and see the junk it picked up

    well my truck is running awesome. got the river city egr delete on, and coolant filter on. truck is very responsive, and pulls hard. and delete didnt even throw a code... im very excited...:)

    band clamp

    24 bucks at the dealer.. thats pretty dam cheap. wheres that dowel at. ill try to find it. im gonna loosen both connections on the up pipe to make sure its loose. im gonna tighten the turbo connection first then tighten the 2 up pipe joints.

    i found one on ebay for 19.99 so thats not horrible. im gonna try the dealer and see what i can do. my friends 04 is blown up so might see if he still wants his clamp haha prob not he'll prob get pissed

    thanks for the help bud.. yeah well i when i was putting egr delete kit on it said to put up pipe on so i did and tighened well when i put turbo back on the turbo and uppipes wouldnt get real tight they were close.. but i think i didnt have the clamp on the botom good and it was a pain to...

    Ok. The loops that the the bolt hooks into bent and it pulled through. I have a tig welder maybe I can weld somthing to it to fix it. I wouldve thought their would be a lot of used ones out there

    Ok well I was putting back together my truck and I was trying to tighten the band clamp that connects the up pipes to the turbo well I was trying to draw the two together. And the clamp broke. So you guys know where I can get them for a decent price? Thanks

    egr removal

    well started working on truck at 8am just got home .. quit working on it at 8pm still not finished have a exhaust leak where uppipes meet the turbo.. so need to get pipes to close up better... ummm biggest pain in the ass job to do.. egr valve came out great though was caked with soot though...

    yeah. their pretty good at doing the head stud job. i talked to them about it. he said dont bring it in till you warp the heads. since they machine them anyways. plus the heat prob strengthens the metal. 2900 isnt bad for all the work they do to the truck. fast turn around time too

    lots of questions. prob shouldve done some of these mods while ago. you think doing the coolant by pass is worth it, if im removing my egr cooler? what else will that help water pump? i was thinking about the kit from dieselelite for 120 bucks, somewhere else better ? thanks for your help guys
