Other than less power, it shouldn't bother anthing further back than I believe 98... but the 6.9's 7.3's and 7.3 turbos will have some problems. Basically the fuel oil is less "oily" and doesn't provide as good a lubrication as the true diesel fuel does. Hense the wear on the fuel system. New...- Kleetus

If there's enough pressure to break a steel tube off I'd be looking at rings or a head gasket. I can't see this being "normal" on any engine. Might have a plugged PCV or breather. That being the case, I'd expect to see oil all over the place, and or a pretty good consumption of oil by...- Kleetus

Oh, that's brilliant... so now when the truck is off it will pump raw fuel into the cylinder so it can leak down past the rings, wipe the oil film off the walls, and dilute the oil so the engine goes BOOM faster... yeah, that's a GREAT plan.
