    Well, they are dumping billions into the technology, but I agree they are charging more simply because they can. From the numbers in the article, this technology will not compete on a large scale with "oil" diesel.

    Check out THIS ARTICLE talking about the big bucks being spent for the gas to liquid (GTL) program in Qatar. Converting natural gas to diesel; the diesel has much lower sulfur content. They say it smells like "perfume."

    Well, why didn't you say so??!!! My "pit vehicle" needs two more MT/Rs in 285/75/16. I just bought two brand new ones off eBay for $250 (including shipping) and I thought that was pretty good. Now I'm looking for two more. And to show you what a good sport I am, I'll pay for shipping :)

    It'll probably never happen, but it would be cool to slap on a set of those wrangler tires that Goodyear makes for the Humvee. They can be had on eBay CHEAP. I'm talking about a stock 2003 crew cab 4x4. Big fun on weekends following a rain. :thumbs :p

    Well, crushing it would improve its looks if you ask me. That thing is hideous. The front end reminds me of E.T. Overall, it doesn't look a lot different from that boxy Honda (or Suzuki, whatever it is) sub-SUV I see putzing around. I'll pass.

    International Prototype Pickup - MXT

    Don't know if y'all have seen this one yet - it looks more practical than the CXT monster that appeared in 2003. Looks like a cross between the Humvee and the old IH Scout. IH MXT Prototype Can't wait for more details on this thing - I'll bet the price tag is scary though.
