    When do you plug in??

With the 7.3 I plugged in around the freezing mark, on a timer set to come on about 4 hours before I'd leave for work. I didn't know if the 6.0's were different, she fired up fine and dandy this morning at 27* without being plugged in.

    When do you plug in??

Bill, yes I was refering to the block heater, I was curious if the 6.0 was any different than the 7.3's in this regard. I usually plugged it in anytime it was below freezing, to help ease the starting a little. John (I have had either too much nyquil or not enough  )

    Cold...........

How are you guys doing out there, looks kinda messy. Here in the Atlanta area they are calling for maybe a very slight chance of some frozen precip in the far Northeast Ga mountains, so naturally everyone has decended upon the grocery stores and emptied the shelves  Ok so I went last...

    First oil change observations

Dave, I put on my Fumoto with this first oil change, now no more hot oil running down my arm into the nether reaches of pitdom scorching folicles all the way. I didn't make too big a mess but HOT oil tends to splash a little more than warm oil and it came out of the oil pan so fast my 15qt...

    First oil change observations

1)The oil filter cap is SPRING LOADED, I was not aware of this until it was too late -mad 2)When 10w-30 is HOT it runs out of the drain very nicely and will overrun your catch pan making a mess. -mad -mad 3)The canister type oil filter is much cleaner to change than the old style spin...

Well we found out what was wrong without going to the dealer......... The brakes were not wired on the trailer, wires were there but not hooked up. You'd think a brand new trailer would be ready to go but......... :dunno

    trailer hookup........

Well we couldn't figure it out so he's taking it in to Ford Monday morning to see what's wrong. You would think that a 40k truck with a built in brake controller wouldn't need anything else to work but what do I know?? I'll let you know what he finds out
