HELP: Blown Front Sway Bar Bushing

I bought mine thru JC Whitney about a year and a half ago. Unfortunately I don't remember what the part number was. They got it right the first time though :hail I would have hated to have gone thru the install only to find out at the last part of it that it was the wrong one! :guns: Not...

    shift actuator

What year is it? I have an 04 X with the TorqueShift. I had this happen to me a few times and I lifted up on the brake pedal with my foot and then stepped on the brake hard. This seemed to do the trick. Good luck :sweet

    Planet Ford

HOLYWATER! WOW, this was like a flashback for me! I used to describe the demon like behavior of my '04 6.0 the same way. I went thru the same frustrations with the service department as well; "well it's this, no it's that, we think we have it exorcised now!" ha ha. It just got down...

    gauges

I have ISSpro Boost, Tranny and Pyro in the A-pilar. Have not had any problem with them in the 16 months that I have had them installed. Did the install myself with a complete kit supplied by DieselManor (gauges, A-pillar, pre-cut lengths of wire & all the sensors)...

    about killed me

You hit it right on the head! I have found that you either do a small power brake prior to launch or give it an initial small amount of throttle then floor it for a good launch. If I floor it from a dead pedal it will take forever to get moving. :burnit

how to drive hills with 6.0L?

I'm pre-turbo and get about the same results as Bushpilot. I don't ever recall hitting the 1250 mark (been very close) even pulling my travel trailer weighing in at around 10k up 6% grades. Maybe because I backed off too though when I did get near. I have heard that bad things can start to...

    Nightmare Over

That pool is great looking :sweet Back in a former life I used to work on pools in Florida. We used install a product called "Lectronator" which utilized salt water. Had a 'cell' that got plumbed in line with the circulation system that used electrolysis to convert the salt to a form of...

    power window problem, help!

Thanks Bush, I had it in the back of my head (maybe my dad screaming at me when I was younger) not to do more than one to two windows at a time. Shows ya what happens when ya get in a hurry! I just gotta get in there and start tracing things. Might look at the switch first and trace to...

    power window problem, help!

My passenger rear window does this. It stared one day when I was in a hurry to put up all the windows and was trying to put 3 up at the same time. Don't do that! :nono: That window quit going up when I was trying this. I wound up leaving it that way for an hour at my sons baseball practice...

New improved Turbo installed/ Pic's of old

Definately have to watch the 100k warranty from dealer to dealer on the turbo. When my blue housing blew off in Tennessee the dealer there told me that it was not covered under warranty. (cost $107 for the entire repair anyway). Had to have it fixed again in Atlanta and the dealer there asked...

DC's gun control laws in action

That town would be Kennesaw, Georgia right next to me. It is a law in the books that every citizen is required to own a hand-gun :sweet :guns: You never hear of a home break-in there on the news! I'm sure not everyone owns a gun and it is not a law that they enforce, but to the thief, how...

    What EGT's with boost?

Depends on how long at WOT and if hauling a load or any mods. I would say that stock (not pulling) and a sustained floor stopin' would get you above 900 to 1000 in short order. Also depends on where you installed your probe, pre or post turbo. I have mine pre turbo so that I know what the...
