    If Rotella has been good to you I would stick with it. Switching oil brands midway up the stream never seems to have good results. Consumption among other things seems to become a issue if you switch. As far as the snake oil you can't knock it if it is working.

    I have one motorcraft battery that is 16 years old and a pair that are 14 years old. I must be above average. The 16 year old is showing signs of getting weak but the 14 year old ones are going strong.

    Just got home and although I have not seen the bill she did mention they "had" to change the air filter too. Far as I can remember it has not been changed in 50k so it probably needed it. Still seems a bit high. We will check out the bill tonight when she gets home.

    What is up with the rate increases? I have always changed the oil in my own truck but for convenience(mine) the wife gets hers changed at Ford quick lube.     I am a MAC guy but I really like my HTC Android. At&t has lousy service in Alaska. The Android will do everything the iPhone does and more.

    Depending on load I average 41-46 mph close to 70 hours a week. It ain't in a Mustang but a Peterbilt is close enough. My mileage is closer to 3.5mpg than 48.5.

    I use to run a set of those. I think I got them from another member that didn't like the light output. I removed them because I didn't like the light output. No matter what red bulbs I put in them they just didn't put out much light. In my mind it is better to be seen dent free than to look cool...
