    as much as i WOULD change your burnt smelling fluid, your symtoms sound EXACTLY like a EBPV sticking, it will get stuck open, then you can force it open with enough fuel, but feel like you are getting held back, had it happen on my 97 unplugged it and never worried about it again.

    not bad numbers at all, never been on the rollers but that is AROUND where i think i am, maybe 15-20 lower. Your rods can hold more TURN IT UP!

    what temperatures are you talking about? i dont plug in my truck unless its below 20, and have started on second pull when it was 12 without being plugged in. im with brushpilot, either GPs or GPR.

    only problem is there will be 2 wires that appear to do nothing, ground and #7 auxilariy, however just try using either of them as your ground point for your meter or test light and and the one that works is the ground and the last rei is #7.
