    How about a wigwag flasher for the LEDS? They are pretty bright, and it might have enough of the strobe effect. Another thought is that the LED;s I have for strobes come in different colors. Couldn't you use the red ones to flash in the clear area?

    I am going to have to hold my breath and do this little thing. I have teh LED strobes so they might be a little bit bigger. As soon as I do it, I will let you know. I do a lot of road work at night and prefer that my truck get lit up like a christmas tree. Just a personal preference.

    I have the stock 6 disc cd changer out of my '06 that is for sale. Make me an offer. I might sell it locally if I get a good enough price. For what it is worth, Ebay has them from about $200 on up, plus shipping.

    I got my third brake light from Ebay. I was not particularly impressed. There was a big old molding ding in the top, and the light did not work. Sent the package back within 20 minutes of receiving it. Waiting for the next round.

    You can find them on Fleabay for $39.99, plus of course shipping of $15. I would be willing to bet it is the same as the Recon lights. I know my taillights were the same, and significantly cheaper.

    I do more polishing than I want with my business, and hate every minute of it. It is just not what I want to do when I am detailing. Now if your polish is better than a wheel and a bar of tripoli and rouge, I might need to be getting some. How long did it take for Ian to polish those things...

    Dow foamy bathroom cleaner. Unless it is scratched really bad, etc, it will work great. It also won't scratch. You do need to look at the Big DOg site, though. I was amazed at what the guy with the end dump did to his truck with the polish.

    Or you could just spray straight simple green on them, and then power wash it off. Put your dressing on, and you are set. You do want to make sure that you put the dressing asap after cleaning them.

    And teh secret was... You let him break traction by spinning the tires before you started pulling. I have a 92 toyota that, with the right amount of weight, could have pulled him once his tires were spinning. But then humble pie is good for everyone from time to time.
