    Ford did have a CPS recall. Had mine done about 1 year ago. They replaced my black one with a grey one. I have not heard of anyone having any problems with the grey one yet. Common practice is to install a blue one from International. Have not hear of any problems with that one either.

    Running an additive in the summer is good to do, I think. Add something that improves the lubricity and the cetane rating of the fuel. Just my .02.

    Bama, I installed an aftermarket one made by KYB. Looks just like the factory one. And the KYB shocks and stabilizers are guarenteed.
