    Got my o-rings yesterday. Installed them last night. After a normal days worth of driving today, the puddle is in the engine valley again. Cleaned up the valley and filter housing as best I could and drove it tonight again. Looks like it might be coming from the service plug on the drivers...

    Installed new fuel filter drain valve o-rings. Hopefully that was the leak. Guess I'll have to check it out tomorrow after I drive it a bit.

    Anyone here ever rebuild the water pump on their 7.3? I replaced mine last week and the dealer didn't want the old one back. Looks easy enough to rebuild, so I thought a spare would be nice to have. I've rebuilt quite a few waterpumps from other diesel engines. Just need a little help...

    Installed the new Ford all weather floor mats I picked up at the All Ford Nationals yesterday. They look good in the truck and don't move around near as much as the original carpet ones. They have a Ford oval emblem on the top and say F-Series along the side.

    X2, Let someone else pay for the fuel. While you wait you can take it back apart. Otherwise, you have to make a long drive and then still have to fix it.

    I replaced the water pump today. Went pretty good. Took about 3 hours. After the belt was off I could feel just a little bit of plat in the pump bearings. Not much, but enough to make me want to change it. I've seen fans hit radiators cause the bearings went out, and I didn't want to see it...

    Thanks for the advise TG. I already have the 203* thermostat, billet housing, and the coolant filter, all from Dieselsite. I also have a fan clutch wrench that uses an air chiesel to motivate it. I was just planning on replacing the pump anyway. No use in taking it off and not replacing it...

    Had the hood up tonight to check all the fluids and found 2 different leaks. First one is fuel. Back of the fuel bowl and the engine valley is wet with fuel. Checked it out with a flashlight and I'm 95% sure it's coming from the drain valve. Where is a good place to get quality o-rings...

    From what I was told, the Warn 11690 will fit right in place. All you need to do are cap the fitting on the back side where the vaccum tube goes into the hub and block off the vaccum line itself. I know of two people that have done this swap to eliminate the auto hubs and no problems so far...

    Changed engine oil and filter, cleaned the air filter out, and checked everything out under the hood. Also picked up the Energy Suspensions master bushing kit and 4 new Pro Copm center caps. Now I have to find time to install them.
