    EBPV not working.

Got the EBP sensor and tube cleaned out. Sensor end was totally plugged. Good news is the EBPV works now. And I noticed a little better throttle response since cleaning it. Easier than It looked at first. Maybe something that should be done on a yearly basis. :dunno Thanks to...

    EBPV not working.

Update Checked the flapper and it moves freely. Also checked the plug. All seems OK there. Didn't have time to clean the pipe yesterday. Plan on doing it this week. I'll post my findings here when I am done.

    EBPV not working.

Finally got cold here. I noticed my truck is not warming up as fast as normal. I had the thermostat out and tested it. Works fine. Noticed today that the EBPV does not close. Where do I begin to find the problem? Will cleaning the tube help? I never cleaned it. Worked fine last winter up...

    down pipes

Had to cut the original in half to get it out on an 02. Might have come out in one piece if you want to remove the transmission crossmember. The new 4" was a tight fit, but with a little patience it goes in. A tight fit, just make sure you have clearance all the way around before you tighten...

    Help Needed DIY Intake Clearance

I did not cut the lower part of my airbox when I installed mine and it only makes a little flat spot in the wire mesh where it is against the hood. Did you try loosening the intake hose and turning it some? I turned mine a little bit so the filter would lay flatter.

Fog lights without the head lights

I can turn on the driving lights without turning on the headlights in my 02. I have to have the marker lights on, but the switch will pull out without the headlights on.

Humor I hate going to gander mountain during a sale

I personally like Gander Mountain. I was at Cabela's today and half of the poeple there don't even hunt. Seems to me that Cabela's has become a fashion statement. Bass Pro Shops is fine to, but I have to drive into the middle of Harrisburg to get there, and I hate that town. But you can't...

Question Winter setup??? New to Diesels

Block heater elements will burn out if for some unknown reason the element does not have coolant around it. The element warms the block by dissappating the heat away from the heater element. The only way I see them burning out is if the truck is drained of coolant. I always unplug mine before...

    Exaust ?

My 2002 with a six speed had a cat when I got it. Poor thing ran away from home though. Ford dealer told me my truck was a 50 state legal truck and that is why it had a cat. Don't know if this is true or not.

    Any Gun Cleaning Experts???

The only thing I run through the barrels of any of my rifles, and shotguns for that matter, are bore snakes. Quick and efficient, and you just throw them in the laundry when they are dirty. They work great in my oppinion. I haven't used a cleaning rod since I was in the army. Hoppe's 9 -...

    engine oil pressure

Has anybody ever noticed their engine oil pressure fluctuate? I've noticed mine seems to run at two different spots on the factory guage. Runs right in the middle of the normal range 95% of the time, but sometimes on long trips on the interstate, usually after at least an hour at highway...

    Shifting without the clutch???

when it comes to shifting without the clutch, remember this. It costs less than to replace a clutch than it does to rebuild a tranny. Every 6 speed I have ever seen, including mine, makes a grinding noise when you lug it down below 800 rpm's. I have 112,000 miles on mine, original clutch, and...
