    Im confused... what puts you at 325 Degrees? Are you saying your coolant is at 325Degrees F? It would all be steam by then. Aside from that ridiculous temperature, you should be fine at 1200rpm and normal operating temp. Mine is on high idle 12-14 hours a day every day. See my Hours...

    Im thinking the boron levels are so high than previous samples is because I would have 5000 or so miles on the oil, PLUS 80+ hours of high idle. MY next test (should get it any day now) will tell us just how bad high idling is for this motor when it comes to oil life.

    Ok, I got the last Oil report for the last sample I sent in. I just can't remember how many idle hours were on that sample. At least 80 though. I am sending them another sample with only about 1500 miles of driving and around 120 hours of fast idle today. We'll see what that one says.

    Good luck with Autometer's Quality control. I hope all of your gauges will be even colored. I can only wonder if Autometer has such bad control on my Nexus gauges, what kind of quality control they have for the cheaper gauges.
