    6.0 intercooler

I used a 3x3x8, and a 3x3.25x8 hose for pipe to cooler connection, and hump hoses on the other end. All from DPP. Your auto will have some tranny cooler line issues I think unless you upgrade to 6.o tranny cooler. Pull the upper radiator support swap ICs. Fairly easy. I noticed maybe...

    D66---IT'S HERE!!!!!!

The inducer on the compressor wheel is 66mm which took oversizing of the inlet on the compressor housing. I believe the exducer is same as stock. I thought the exhaust wheel was stock, does is look bigger or different angle on the vanes?

    hpop explain?

No, they are a little different. The actual pumps that is. The systems are both hydraulic electronic unit injector systems. The 6.0 can run 4k psi of HPO, 7.3 is 2500-3000 for a stock system. The intensification ratio of the unit injectors is what get the injection pressure up to 20k+...

    downloaders

Don't forget about TS...who's a site sponsor. They offer the MP-8 module which is an ICP mod or the 5x Downloader. You get 50, 75, 100, 135, and 150hp levels. I've sold a couple of these where I work and the owners really like them, too bad the new flash from Ford has the 5X on backorder...

    DP tuner????

I still have the DP chip, just don't use it. I have an odd PCM code that needs live tuning for Jody to get the quirks out with my setup. Why did I change? Had the opportunity to run Tony's chip and like it more. Smoother idle and seems to be stronger, no dyno numbers to prove it yet.

    DP tuner????

Welcome to the site Stroke! When I was running DP tuning my 80tow was a little less responsive on throttle tip in than the econo. It also smoked more. But my setup was not anywhere close to stock. I no longer use DP Tuner. I've run TS, DI, DP and TDP.

    New Holland on B100

I work at an authorized service dealer for Bosch, Nippondenso, Stanadyne and Delphi. As of this month we have received no info for recognizing above B5 when doing any warranty work.:dunno I was at Stanadyne school back in October at our central distributor. I asked what was recognized...B5...

How cold can i run B20

Do they have fuel pressure gauges to verify it's flowing well at those temps? Do they have fuel filter heaters? If not, they are waxing their filters. All B100 clouds at those temps. Canola based fuel has the best cloud point. As for the B20 of the OP...if it's quality bio mixed with...

    New Holland on B100

The sad part is that the injection manufacturers(Bosch and Denso) CNH uses have not recognized over B5. CNH will be covering any pump or injector failures out of their own pocket. Expect fuel samples to be taken. Also...BQ9000 certification is a crock! A big producer pays the NBB BIG $$ to...

    smoke when started

Bluish white smoke that smells of fuel is UNBURNED fuel. Very common on cold days. You should see a Cat that's had the screw turned up on a cold day. Black smoke is PARTIALLY burned fuel. Blue smoke that smells like burned oil is burned oil. White smoke is coolant/water vapor.

06 f350SD PSD RUST IN FUEL SYSTEM??

Biodiesel cleans sludge and crap from older systems. Bio's shelf life is 90 days and is MORE susceptible to algae and microbial growth if condensation accumulates in partially empty tanks since it's organically based.

06 f350SD PSD RUST IN FUEL SYSTEM??

One month is more than enough time for algae to grow, especially with an empty tank all summer....heating and cooling of the air inside causes condensation, then the little diesel thats there is a feeding frenzy for microbes. Large tanks should be treated with biocide if not being used for...

    fuel pressure gauge

Well since it was on a Dawdge it's useless on your PSD....it will be pegged all the time. The PSD has about 60ish psi at the test port, all the Dodge systems(VE, P-7100, VP44 and HPCR) run low pressure...5-13 depending on the situation.

    1st time using B20

Was the B20 cloudy when you pumped it? B20 should not be cloudy at 70F. I would let that sample set a day or two without disturbing it to see if any glycerine falls out. If a white substance settles in the bottom of the jar plan on changing the fuel filters soon.

06 f350SD PSD RUST IN FUEL SYSTEM??

It will take an attorney and the backing of the dealership to get the fuel station to admit they are at fault. 9 times out of 10 it's the last fill before failures that's the cause. You had equipment failure do to their fuel and the courts will see it that way. I would suggest going and...

    algi in fuel?

Racor makes a good biocide, so does FPPF. Like already stated mircobes are usually only a problem when fuel sets in a container that's not full for long periods of time, the air in the tank has water vapor in it that condenses with heating and cooling. Once that water gets in the fuel is...

Dodge 5.9 vs ford 6.0 in MPG

Dave Whitmer...I believe it's 3.05 gears. Also I think it's a SC like mine but lowered with skinnier tires for less rolling resistance. Someone once asked him why he's done all he has instead of just buying a Honda....his response was that his body didn't fit in a compact too well.

Dodge 5.9 vs ford 6.0 in MPG

Ditch the Hypertech.....I get 300-375 miles per half tank(39g) depending on percentage of highway miles. I avg about 21mpg highway at 65-70mph....dad's '03 common rail Dawdge that's bone stock gets 25mpg with him driving 60mph. I get that down to around 23.:sly I call :bs on the 27...

    fuel additives

A little FYI....Stanadyne additives are the only ones made by a fuel injection company. They are harder to come by because Stanadyne service dealers are the only source for them, sometimes the SD's will sell to parts stores. I run Stanadyne Performance blend with my various blends of...

    loose crank bearings????

IIRC the end play is .002-.003. Call any automotive machine shop that's a member of Automotive Engine Rebuilders Association to verify. I've heard of standard trannies eating the thrust but not autos as they don't have the thrust loads that clutches put on cranks. Never heard of an...

    1st time using B20

I've run from B5 to B99 for about a year and a half, with at least 1500 gallons of B99. Less smoke, smoother running engine. I had noticed a slight decrease in fuel mileage at the end of last spring and thought I might have some injector o-rings out. I was right, when I installed the new AC...

It's not normal for LPO to drop...I read that one guy replaced his LPOP and it didn't fix it, replaced his slightyly grooved front cover and his guage is steady.
