'06 Factory stereo in '00 truck
I don't think it will fit, In 05 they changed to a full double din radio, which is larger than the 99-04 SD's factory radios. I'm sure you could "make" it fit with some gentle persuasion. I don't know about wiring though. Again I'm sure you could make that work too, just depends how much...- keanoknick

Carli Suspension
King Shocks are really good, but you can put them on most any lift kit. I don't see anything special about this kit, it looks good, but what makes it stand out above others??? If money isn't an issue I'd go with Rize, or Donahoe. I am VERY pleased with my Fabtech lift also.- keanoknick

more turbo whistle and a straight pipe
Yes it's possible, but you have to have an 03 pedestal too, the 03 turbo won't work on an 05 pedestal. :sweet- keanoknick

They should have used the updated headgaskets, but as far as the EGR cooler and valve go, they're just stock replacements. I would recommend putting a coolant filter on the truck ASAP, it will get the remaining casting sand out of the coolant system, and will increase the life of the water...- keanoknick

You can bet, that they won't honor the new warranty if you bring the truck in with an EGR cooler delete. Just as they would with the factory warranty- keanoknick

In my 05, there is a wiring harness just for this purpose, which was on the passenger side, on the sidewall behind a plastic panel, down under the glovebox, just to the right of the floormat. warranty?
Check with your dealer, depending on date of purchase the drivetrain warranty changed in the middle of 06 at some point. I think it upped the drivetrain to 5yr 60k miles, but I'm not sure, and it's all dependent on the original purchase date. Any good dealer should be able to provide you with...- keanoknick

out of the hole sooooo slow
List what mods you have done to it. Lots of things can get you outta the hole faster, spool up the turbo first, an SCT with custom tunes, a turbo back 4" exhaust, exterminate the kitty.- keanoknick

Sounds like all the common things have already been done, althought sometimes they reoccur. Those being the Headgaskets, EGR cooler, and EGR valve. You should be good to go. Good luck!- keanoknick
