Ayone running Rough Country 6'' on 05+

I've got an 8" Fabtech lift, and I would not recomend that you put a 38x15.50 tire on your truck with only 6 inches of lift, it will rub BAD. I have 38.5"x14.50 tires and they rub in tight turns. Anything bigger than 37" you will run into problems, unless you plan on trimming the bumper and...

"New" truck... roof cab marker light question

I believe they are tied into the parking light fuse. I can't remeber the bulb number but they are small (obviously) and pretty cheap. Before replacing them you could put a test light or a mulitmeter on the connectors to verify they're getting power, it should be pretty easy, there's only one...

    "Vibration"??? Only above 3200 rpm

I haven't ever noticed anything like that with my truck, but I don't get the RPM that high real often. Sorry I can't be of more help to you, Good luck!

    Tire size questions? What fits

you should be able to get the 305's to fit without much problem at all, a friend of mine has 35"s and just a level kit and no problems, so with your claimed 1.5" of lift from the plow spings, you should be fine.

    Camping Help

WOW!! That is the first time I have ever heard that. I'd rather back a Fifth wheel any day and under any circumstances than a bumper pull trailer, maybe it's because I'm used to backing up semis from when I used to drive OTR, but I have always found fifth wheels easier to back.

ford makin it home before the dodge

It's a Dodge on the trailer who cares if it's damaged or not :stir As long as the snowmobiles make it ok, and when the dodge falls off it doesn't hurt anyone else, it'll be ok.:sly :sorry

    New guy from Clovis, Ca

What gears are you running? I've got the 3.73's in mine, and just wondering about what to expect with a good size trailer behind it with the 38.5" tires. thus far since my lift kit, I've only pulled a couple of boats and real small trailers.

    Blown Inter Cooler

This is the third of fourth stock 6.0 intercooler I've heard of blowing out. Saw one at the dealer when my truck was in, it was a F-550 and totally stock, it blew nearly the whole end tank off, looked like it was never attached real well from the factory.

    antenna mounts

I've looked myself, and never been able to find any, some big truck ones could be improvised to work but won't be to pretty. I ended up using stake pocket mounts on mine.

    HID light conversion?

I love mine, have had no issues with them at all. I got nervous a couple of times pulling up behind a cop at night and blinding them at a stop light, but they've never said a word to me. I do get people flashing there Hi's at me frequently at night, since my lights are so bright, and I'm...

    Extra fuel capacity

Hey Nebraska, How would putting an aftermarket 55 gallon replacement belly tank in my 05 short bed, affect my gas guage, will it throw a CEL or SES light? I know people that have done it on 04's but not on a 05+

    Suspension lift to clear 38"s

I am very happy with my 8" Fabtech lift kit, and highly recomend Fabtech. That being said, I have an 05 with the new coil spring front suspension, that replaced the leaf springs like on your 2000. So the lift kits are entirely different between the two model years. 99-04 has leafs 05+ has coils.
