I called diesel power products and they said that the Garret turbos are not balanced as assemblys at the factory, but balabced as individual parts,so it doesnt matter what wheel goes on what as long as the wheel itself is balanced.- john griffin

The seals and bearings are not an issue,I'll do it myself,but I cant balance the rotateing assembly. All the dealers that make/sell these wheels say nothing about rebalancing,so I have to wonder how many of these wheels are spinning around out there without it.- john griffin

Ford f259 sd oil
I switched from Amsoil 15w-40 to Rotella full synthetic 5w-40 last fall.Starts and runs better and quieter.It gets cold up here in winter and the 5w-40 starts much easier.I have also been adding Liqui Moly for the last 2 years.That helped with the quietness also and I did pick up a solid 1 mpg...- john griffin

garret turbo
Hello,I'm new here and have a question regarding the turbo on my 7.3. The motor is out of the chassis right now for replacement of rotted out exhaust manifolds,so I'm thinking its a good time to look at and maybe upgrade the turbo. I would do new seals and bearings and I would like a billet...- john griffin
