    my AutoEnginuity scanner will do those tests. Takes about 15 mins to boot the computer, hook it to the truck, launch the software, scan the sensors, then run the tests.

    Duallies on ice.

    Dually trucks have a larger "contact patch". Larger contact patch equals lower "pounds per square inch". Lower PSI equals less "bite" into the ice. There is a fine line between too much and too little contact patch tho. Tread design and siping plays a lot into it too.

    You know, you could get a cheap remote start without the alarm and that would give you the walk-away runtime (cooldown timer type) and the remote start. For prolly about the same price. I picked up a full blown alarm/remote start for my truck for 150 bucks. I just havnt installed it yet...

    I've got a line on a set of 05/06 18" wheels/tires for 350 bucks. I'd like to get a taller rim on my truck (such as an 18") and I cant beat the price. My question is, is there a backspacing difference between my factory 2000 lariat rims, and these 18" 05/06 rims? Or are they a direct bolt on?

    yeah, 100-ish for everything. You do have to cut the old stabilzer bracket off to install the new system, so a Saw-Z-All is handy. Also, you need to rotate the tie-rod clamp 180* so that the bolts are not in the way. They didnt tell me that in the instructions tho.

    Stock Stereo Shocker!

    There were two manufacturers for our stock radios. Sony, and someone else. Depending on who made the unit (externally they are identical) some would play MP3 and some would not. The only way to test, was to put an MP3 disc in. You got lucky.
