FM modulators should be a last resort. They just dont have the clarity and bandwidth of a direct wired unit.

You may well be right. I did a search and the only thing about the HIGH BEAMS I could find was that the switch was supposed to me SAE xxx regulation. When you go to look UP that regulation, its LOCKED OUT unless you pay a huge fee. So riddle me this? Can the Gov't enforce a "standard" that is...
